borgination (101), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Sep 26, 2008 Very smooth beer that is a little bitter but still has a great taste. Very easy to put down a six pack of these delectable treats. Chipper (179), Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 23, 2008 Pours a dark amber with a moderate off white head. Aroma is hoppy with some malt. Very smooth and slightly bitter. The alcohol is well hidden. Finishes dry and clean. Good stuff. kosko20 (302), Bemidji, Minnesota, USA Sep 18, 2008 Has a yeasty and malty aroma. Pour is a cloudy, hazy dark orange with a thin, off white head that fades to lacing. Flavor kinda weak in malts and yeast, has a metallic taste to it as well. Palate is thin, light and slightly bitter. Not too great. scottw86 (180), Maryland, USA Sep 11, 2008 Poured a hazy orange/amber with a smaller head. Aroma was sweet with some grapefruit and malts. Full bodies with some sweet malts and a touch of citrus. A light taste of hops gives some bitterness to the finish. molsonfan9000 (59), geneva, New York, USA Sep 10, 2008 smell was weak, appearance was coppery, flavor was sweet at first like citrus fruit, but had a hoppy bite afterwards, mouthfeel was crisp and dry, overall, not a bad beer but not something im really into 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Sep 10, 2008 I haven’t had this beer in forever... didn’t like it that much when I had it, but here goes. bomber. Dark amber with some fat carbonation bubbles and a nice off-white head that fades a bit too quick. aroma is funky weird... maybe confused is a better word. Really nutty, sweet malt with lots of sweet weird tangerine fruitiness that seems weird with malt character - its building on me a bit. Flavor is unique but pretty good, less fruitiness more semisweet bock maltiness with a bit of biscuityness dough malt upfront. Medium to light bodied and smooth on the palate with soft carbonation (probably because I swirled it around so many times while trying to figure out the scent. Overall: nice brew, unique style. NaturalIce (115), originally from Michigan, New York, USA Sep 8, 2008 12 oz bottle - Aroma mainly consists of a thick malty yeast with a touch of honey. The flavor is also with a hearty honey taste that lasts. Not as bitter as I usually like. Good alcohol % but you wouldn’t even know it. Not my favorite style of beer but would drink again. scoth (266), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Sep 7, 2008 Pours copper and clear, with a medium white head, little lacing. Subtle aroma, a bit like pineapple and cashews. Medium body, satisfying and smooth. Nutty and caramel flavor, malt is subdued, lingering pine hop aftertaste.
