Aug 25, 2008 22 oz. bottle. Pours a nice collapsing head, attractive dark honey yellow color, aroma of honey, other spices flow in, taste complex with multiple flavors that do not quite balance in my mouth, there is a bitter twang that comes in at the finish. I’d really like to try it on tap.

Aug 24, 2008 Bottle........pours a nice golden color with just a hint of depth. Smells intereseting......malty, sweet, minor hops. Taste is interesting as well nice nut, malt, mix with a subtle fruity hoppy taste.

Aug 24, 2008 Well, this is my first Rogue brew, and I must admit, it’s not bad. I first heard of this brewer from hearing about it’s recent victories at the great american beer convention. This pours a dark hazy amber, with a good head and no lacing. It’s aroma is kinda subtle, but with some fruity back. The flavor is kinda subtle as well, but it has a decent mouthfeel, and some sweet maltiness on the finish. Cheers!

Aug 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep copper color with a medium off-white head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of malt, toffee, also kind of nutty and bread-like. Flavor is a bit sweet, with citrus and spices, such as nutmeg and pepper. Good hops balance keeps this beer from being too malty. Soft, pleasant mouthfeel and good aftertaste. Good brew! I’d like to pair this beer with a wood-fired pizza topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and plenty of cheese. Oh, and just to keep my doctor off my back, let’s put a mixed green salad on the side.
