Rogue Dead Guy Ale

Been hearing a lot about this and it really didn’t disappoint. Great aroma of hop and malt. Taste is hop with a sharp bitterness.

Light amber with loose off-white head. Aromas of sharp hops and malt, slightly roasted. Slightly sweet, fairly bitter. Dry finish, sharp carbonation. A rich, hoppy, american interpretation of the style. Decent brew; good all-nighter.

Not a bad beer per se, the Metropolitan Copper Lager I had before this one was much better. Had this on tap at a mediocre bar, aroma is transparent and the taste is surprisingly hoppy (at least hoppier than I anticipated). Meh.

Aroma is malty and a bit sweet. This is definitely a beer whose aroma does not betray it’s flavor. strong flavor of caramelized malt, slight taste of grapefruit. Bitterness is chorus to this concert of flavor. Wide spread distribution helps propagate the popularity of this beer. Maybe a slightly overratted

Floral/Sugar aroma, appearence is orange copper with white head. Flavour is a mix of sugar, a hint of breadiness & spice that finishes with a light flowery bittering finish.

On tap at Newport Pub. Pours an orange amber with some lace. aromas of brown sugar, biscuit and some citrus hop. The palate on the tapped Dead Guy is nearly perfect. The taste is a sweet sugariness with just a hint of bitter citrus.

Floral hoppy and malty aroma. Starts with very nice and strong hop flavour then maltiness appears which ballanced by hop bitterness. Full body and right not too high carbonation. Long and bitter aftertaste. Excellent brew.

Deep orange colour with medium white head.Aroma strong bitter with flavor of tosted malt and caramel,good full body and flowery hoppy finish.
