On tap at BW3’s in downtown Indy. Appearance is golden amber with little head. Sweet malt, light pepper, mild hop flavors, and slightly fruity. Mouth is pretty flat. This one is an ok serviceable beer.
areyouinning (72), North Carolina, USA Sep 12, 2009 Amber/Cider colored pour with a very generous amount of white foam and well covering slow lacing. Subdued, somewhat hoppy aroma. Hop bitterness from start to finish in taste. Medium body. Easy to drink, with little evident alcohol. rudolf (1734), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 10, 2009 Bottle @ Goodbar Beer Club. Nose is light honey malt, alcohol, undefined floral & tea hops. Flavor is light caramel malt, slight butterscotch. Nice solid bitterness with creeping alcohol. awiseman01 (318), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Sep 9, 2009 Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #14 of 90. Tap at B-dubs downtown Indy. Pours deep golden, minimal head...much lighter in color than I expected, I don’t know why I expected it darker, but I did. This has a sweet malty aroma with some hops mixed in. Taste is a good malt balance with earthy to citrusy hops. A decent amount of carbonation, and I wasn’t blown away by the alcohol. Pretty good. Hopper (271), San Antonio, Texas, USA Sep 9, 2009 A golden beer with a decent head. Aroma was sweet, & malty. The taste was sweet, malty, & very bready with a taste that I can only describe as a malty middle. Dervock (178), Emu plains, Australia Sep 9, 2009 Bottle - Pours a deep orange with a deep haze, off white head with a lazy fizz. Raw malt aroma with a citric undertone. For a 6.5 ABV there is a very strong alcohol hit up front, afer that hit there is a bready, orange and malt hit. Dry lingering finish, soft flowery hops.
