2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Finally ventured beyond the void and purchased a bottle of this one, so here goes...
Into a snifter at just on cool. Bright copper with fine carbonation that is hasty in its ascent. Head little more than a wafer thin, compact pad of white that does hold. Biscuity sweet, malty and edged by notes of Ceylon tea, pumpernickel, burnt toast, rolled oats and puffed wheat is the breakfast cereal-esque aroma - drabby and stale. Unremarkable and honestly ho hum on the palate had me asking ’is this it!?’ Creamy, frothy, light and unconsuming on the palate. Burnt fruit dominates and is long lasting. Candyish but on the scorched side. Burnt toast, light tannins, overbrewed Earl grey and then its oily in the finish to boot. Residuallly sweet and sticky and generally not much fun to drink. ’I was up here now I am down there’ type of beer. Disappointing! ( 12fl.Oz, no date stamp, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bärnstensfärgad med liten smutsgul krona. Fyllig med något återhållsam doft. Smaken är kraftfull med stor kropp. Smakinslag av russin och lite mörk choklad. Lite låg kolsyrenivå i övrigt en trevlig öl.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Hazy, deep golden, smaller off-white head with a little lace, sweetish bisquity to bready nose, some well hidden herbal hops in the background; almost solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; sweet caramelly and bisquity finish with a tart-hoppy aftertaste and a tinge of alcohol. A chunky Bock, a bit too sweet, a bit too alcoholic…

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
The taste is unlike the typical high caliber IPA and It does not strike my fancy. It's not bitter but the sweetness undermines the effect.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,355L bottle (shared by suurjuust, thanks!). Pours very slightly hazy amber with white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma: intense sweetness, malt, floral, and caramel. Taste: very sweet, caramel, fruity, grapefruit bitterness, noticeable alcohol, and also little bit watery. Overall: good, but a little bit too sweet for me.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy amber colour. Pleasant malty aroma and flavour. Also a touch of hop too. Has a fresh, sharp edge and a touch of spicy yeast in the finish which seperates it from the typical US Pale Ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden with two fingers of fine, white head. Smells of malt which is also predominant in taste with light hops. Very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Beer Temple (had this before - years ago). Clear light amber/copper color. Steady, rocky off white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: sweet malts, fruit-sweets, caramel malts, bready malts. Flavor is moderate sweet with hints of bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes with a delicate bitterness, slightly dry. No spectacular but solid.

Flaska på Bishops Arms, Sundbyberg.
Doftar pepprigt och saltlakrits.
Smakar ganska trist tycker jag, tråkig beska som ligger kvar en stund.
