[2006 GCBF] Delicious. Has all the stylings of a good bock, but without the overpowering sweetness of one. Really really good taste and stays strong all the way through.

Glass. Pours a golden-rust with a thin white head. Has an exellent nose. Very floral, smells like a bouquet of roses. Slight hop notes, pine, grassy. Taste is delicious. More malty with hop undertones and a balanced sweet/slightly bitter finish, Smooth. Palate is medium. Not pilsener like, not a stout feel. Somewhere in between. This is overall a very good beer.

From bomber into pint glass. Pours a golden brown/amber, with citrusy aroma, moderate carbonation. Big citrus and sweet flavour up front with dry bitterness on the back half. Light-tasting despite the abv.

Tasty beer that is easy to drink. They serve this beer on tap at my local ale house. This beer seems more bitter when it gets too cold. It has almost of an iron taste when too warm.

This here is a damn fine bock, plain and simple. I’m not going to get all technical about it, so here goes.....sweet,malty aroma...this tastes like a beer should. Perfect sweetness followed by perfect hops. Nothing too complicated, and I mean that in the best way possible. I will most definately purchase this again, although it is a little pricey at 34 bucks a case! But damn worth it.
Best bock I’ve had so far and i’ve tried Stoudts,Troegs,Crooked River and Michelob’s crappy fake amber bock. If you can get this where you live, definately do it !! You’ll be glad you did....I promise.

Bottle. Poured smooth with an inviting head that was nice and fluffy. Has a toasted nut flavour that is slightly creamy. A very good ale.

Fantastic beer. Great, rich flavor that hits hard and fast. For some reason this beer tends to get me buzzed much quicker than anything else. Very unique flavor, also tastes good after it’s been sitting out for an hour. The perfect beer to sip while playing a game of poker or watching Monday Night Football.
