3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 This has been one of my favorite ales over the past few years, although I am not as big a fan now as I was about two or three years ago. Although considered a Maibock, it is somewhat darker and maltier than most Maibocks. It pours a slightly cloudy amber with a white head that dissapates quickly. Strong aroma of sweet malt. Very well balanced, flavorful and easy to drink. Dead Guy is a fine all-around ale that I enjoy throughout the year. I would also like to note that I experienced amazing customer service from the staff at Rogue Ales.

5/5/2011. From bottle. Light amber color with a tan head. Sweet malty aromas with honey and spice. Light hoppy finish. Not bad at all.

Sandy head and nice lacing. For a dead guys beer this thing is pretty lively. Some spice on the taste and rich honey malt character. The hops linger long after the sip has gone down and are earthy in flavour.

Buona birra inserire stile bock, di facile beva. Al naso ha un buon profumo erbaceo e resinoso mentre in bocca predominano i sapori del malto.

Bottle (22 oz). From TheJester, thanks! Clear bright golden/orange with a medium fully lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma is of light sweetness, cereals, floral notes and light fruitiness. Taste is about the same with the toasted cereals and a light bitter finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium body. Good carbonation. Decent Bock. Drinkable.

Shared with Rock_Buffalo and Shark_Pants. An enjoyable brew with sweet flavors that linger and dabble on the palate. Becomes noticeably more appreciative as the pour is allowed to warm.

bread, dough, amber, clear, white foam, long lasting foam lightly bitter, medium sweetness, normally I don’t like sweet beer, but this balanced sweetness I love.

Ret meget karamel, lidt humle og lidt ristet malt i duften.
Meget varm og sød men balanceret af humle. Smag af karamel, lidt nød og choko. Dejlig rund.
