Draft at the pit. Pours black with a thin brown head. Not much lacing here. Big big chocolate and molasses on the nose. Fairly sweet on the to the with lots of chocolate and malt goodness. Very nice!

Bottle, courtesy GT2, thanks! Pours black with a thick tan head, good retention/little lace. Aroma of bakerís chocolate, coffee, roast. Taste is more powdered, bakerís chocolate, coffee, soy. Palate is dry, chalky, a bit astringent.

Draft that must be under nitro. The head is thick and creamy and lasts forever. Everything in a stout u want and expect and more. It lacks in chocolate but still yummy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black pour tan creamy head, sticky lacing .... aroma overwhelmingly of dark bitter chocolate and light roasted malts .... taste is of bittersweet dark chocolate almost like a bakers chocolate, little sweet and lightly roasted with a dry bitter roasted and hoppy finish .... great looking beer abv hidden well

750mL red faux ceramic. Deeper, clear, dark brown to black pour. Thick, deep, mocha foam. Dense and rocky. Nose is olive brine, black olive, melted fudge, plastic, thicker Nestlé Quik. Taste is thinner, dirty, lemon tea, dirt. Another garbage beer from Rogue. Finish is water with lemon. Flavor is surprisingly bland for style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Huge slabs of cacoa dominate this brew. Not a sweet chocolate, but the potent kick of dark chocolate. The brew has a undertone of roasted malt which quickly morphs into a creamy chocolate experience which goes on to a long finish of biter chocolate. Masks the booze well. Perhaps a little too one dimensional for me... but what a dimension! The epitome of a chocolate stout!

Draught at Brickwall. Poured a deep dark black body with an average sized light tan head. Aroma is amazing, even when cold there is a ton of dark chocolate coming through. Upon some warming itís loads of dark bakers chocolate, dry brown toast, hint of coffee. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor is much like the aroma and dominated by dark chocolate along with some dry toast and a touch of bitterness on the end. One of the best chocolate beers Iíve ever had.

I was really hesitant to rate this as highly as I did, but I couldnít help it. Aroma is heavily chocolate influenced with malt and beer undertones. Pours very dark and thick with a moderate head. VERY easy on the palate, to the point that youíre only one step removed from drinking chocolate milk, itís so smooth. Sweetness of the chocolate combines well with the chocolate from the malts. Damn...

Wow amazing beer. Huge chocolate and coffee. And for a big beer still easy to drink. Pours jet black with tan head.
