Pours a nice black with a large dark tan head. This beer is yummy, there is a bitter chocolate taste and a roasted coffee taste, followed by a slight spicyness. This beer is creamy and thick, Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmm.

On tap at PreFunk. Wasn’t expecting it to be this good, but its pretty damn tasty. Chocolatey, just like that name says. Creamy texture, dark semi sweet chocolate dominates the nose. Small creamy beige head. Taste is chocolate, coffee, roast grains, burnt toast. Silky smooth, bittersweet finish. Yea, it deserves the score....

What a fantastic beer. I had this in from a bomber. Great cascade on the pour. Head sets up nice, and leaves a great lacing as you enjoy. Chocolatey, sweet, with the right amount of bitter. Another job well done from Rogue.

Pours a flat black color with a dark brown head. Aroma is mostly dark chocolate, milk chocolate, some roast and booze. Sweet smelling. Tastes like milk chocolate and roast, with more hop flavor than I was expecting. More sweet than bitter, but still well balanced. Palate is a little thin for the style. Overall this is a good chocolate stout; it doesn’t taste fake like a lot of the other ones I have tried.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A very dark brown-black beer that pours with a large dark tan head. It has a very strong milk chocolate and bitter pine and red fruity flavour, oak and vanilla notes followed by a nutty creamy and dark chocolate boozy finish. Very good, but I’m not sure if it’s any better than the normal Chocolate Stout.

Opaque black beer with a brown head and a rich chocolate aroma. Flavour is chocolatey, coffee from the malt and a slight sweetness to take the edge off which I imagine comes from the honey. Rich, hearty body and a lingering dark chocolate aftertaste. Delicious.

750ml bottle. Black withe beige brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, lot of chocolate - dark and milk, cocoa. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter. Chocolate again but there are some perfume notes in the taste - something artificial that I dont like. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
