Pours black with a medium mocha head. Aroma is largely of chocolate and vanilla with a slight roasted malt backbone. Taste is mildly sweet with very little bitterness, somewhat dry. Full body, soft carbonation, and a smooth creamy mouth feel. An excellent stout, look forward to getting this one again.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A very dark brown-black beer that pours with a large dark tan head. It has a very strong milk chocolate and bitter pine and red fruity flavour, oak and vanilla notes followed by a nutty creamy and dark chocolate boozy finish. Very good, but Im not sure if its any better than the normal Chocolate Stout.

Opaque black beer with a brown head and a rich chocolate aroma. Flavour is chocolatey, coffee from the malt and a slight sweetness to take the edge off which I imagine comes from the honey. Rich, hearty body and a lingering dark chocolate aftertaste. Delicious.

750ml bottle. Black withe beige brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, lot of chocolate - dark and milk, cocoa. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter. Chocolate again but there are some perfume notes in the taste - something artificial that I dont like. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

750 ml bottle poured at home. Smells like chocolate, tastes like chocolate. I loved the Rogue chocolate stout and this is just as good if not better. Nice looking bottle too! extremely drinkable.
