3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2014 On tap. Dark reddish amber with small off white head. Aroma of malt, biscuit, faint marmalade and fruity hops, dipa is my spontaneous impression. Taste is malty, grain, fruit, biscuit and marmalade. Thin texture with fairly low carbonation. Nice!

This was a good beer on the tap at P Wexford’s Pub. My scoring for aroma could be skewed do to me being congested.

4.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Muted aroma - super smooth on the palate - super sweet - honeyed aftertaste - far too easy to drink - massive abv so could be a killer! But ’dead’ good!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 7-29-2009 (Bottle) This beer pours a medium sized fizzy ivory head that mostly diminishes, slightly hazy orange golden body, and spotty amounts of lacing. The Aroma is caramel malts, bitter, citrus, and earthy hops. The Taste is heavily bitter, caramel malts, citrus hops, and has a very long bitter dry finish. The Palate is tingly and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer has a nice balance between the aroma and flavor, worthy trying, and a beer I would drink again.

Botella.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear slightly dark amber with a thin foamy head. Nose is strange, like roasted apricot, artisan crackers, and a wee bit of raisin. Flavor is boozy and malty with more caramel and apricot with a toasted grain backbone, finishing slightly hoppy bitter and more than a little boozy. Meh.

Kan ikke helt huske den men jeg kan dog huske den var rigtig god, fyldig, let maltsødme og så humlet.

Earthy, alcohol, basement aromas, in that description it doesn’t sound good but to be honest its not a bad drop. A touch heavy on the alcohol taste but its a strong beer could be smother.
