Reddish copper in color, a roasty malt flavor with a hoppy sprucy finish. Saint Rogue Red is made with two-row Harrington, Klages and Munich malts, along with Hugh Baird 30-37, 13-17 Carastan, and Crystal 70-80 malts (44.4% speciality grains .39 lbs grain per bottle); Chinook and Centennial hops.

22oz bomber. Pours a strong clear burnt orange with moderate head and medium lacing. Strong aroma, lots of complex malts, smells awesome. The taste unfortunately isn’t quite as good, the hops really mask and cover up the bready flavors. The palate is fine, bitterness is long. Overall, points for originality, but not my favorite overall.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Murky coppery red with a significant amount of suspended and floating sediment, a 1-finger khaki head and very good lacing. Aroma of caramel, bread, toast, pine and fruit. Taste of caramel, pine, toast, bread, lemon and earthy herbs. Light/medium body and high/medium carbonization. I'm tolerant of a little sediment, but I don't enjoy picking large chucks out from between my teeth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber colored with a thin white head. Strong aroma of freshly mowed grass. Bitter and flowery flavor with decent balance. Very nice.

BOTTLE. Big head that disappeared quickly, poured red/brown. Malt heavy on the nose, with your typical "red/amber" ale taste, with a bit more malt. medium standard body, Finished with a crisp bite. Sourced from Cellarbrations Capel

12 fl oz bottle. Pours amber-red with off-white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is hoppy pine and caramel. Flavor is similar to nose. Body is watery. Finish is pine bitter. Overall: ok brew, I guess fresher sample would be better.

Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Murky reddish brown beer, tan head. Nose is caramel, malt, fruity notes. Flavor is berries, toasty malt, hops. Dry hoppy finish. Lingering breadiness and hops. Very easy to drink.

This defines session ale! Pours a fantastic murky red w/ a tan head that leaves a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is pretty bready and malty. The taste is exceptionally clean while carrying a quite nice malty flavor. It’s a delight on the palate and very smooth! Possibly the best amber I’ve ever had!

Malty caramel slightly hopped aroma. Thickish amber body. Beautiful caramel malt to taste, balanced with just the right amount of hops. Great mouthfeel and a nice amount of carbonation. Bittersweet morish aftertaste. Very enjoyable
