2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2014 22 oz bottle. Aroma: obviously strong honey, but also floral with hints of SweetTarts candy. Taste/Palate: feels thin for a mead; starts sweet, bubbly, and crisp, and finishes tart and sweet, with a slight dryness in the aftertaste. This was an interesting experiment, but it?s not one I need to try again anytime soon.

Poured from a 22. OK it’s a mead. The aroma was actually pretty decent. It had a nice floral nose with hints of peaches. Taste is like eating a tube of lip gloss made for 8 year old girls. The aftertaste has the typical Rogue skunk. Must be that "free range coastal water". Somebody get me an IPA to wash this down!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"Expecting a big sticky sweet high abv mead and got this deliciously refreshing treat in stead. Maybe a little overrated in my head as it was such a nice change of pace. Very floral, with light honey and refreshing herbals. Brought home a bottle. Wow-did NOT sit well. Overwhelmingly perfume and prickly with little else going on after a few months."

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I’m not sure why this stuff is so low-rated. For mead-light it’s pretty decent.
The pour is like cider, the nose is honey, flowers and champagne yeast. Taste is honey, flowers, and, well, fizzy water. Overall it’s a serviceable summer beer alternative.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This beer got a lot of recommendations so i tried it. It wasn’t bad, but i think it got over hyped. Slightly cloudy/hazy pour with a fast-fading white head. The nose has a bit of floral wildflower honey, light herbal character and a touch of white pepper. Jasmine comes out in after taste. Slightly zesty with a touch of citrus fruit. Not a mead with a ton of character, but it’s reasonably thirst-quenching and has some character.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Poured a yellow to golden with lots of carbonated bubbles. Thin white skim of a head on the top. Aroma was sweet honey and floral hints. Taste was very mixed with earth, floral and light honey. The finish was dry and carbonated.
I let this warm up to room temp and it seemed to get better as it warmed up. Also a lot of the carbonation flattened as it warmed, which in my opinion helped.

Jasmine. Really light gold. Light body. Floral. Not too dry not too sweet. Ok.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear with a thin white head that dissipates quickly, left with a light yellow-straw to golden color. Should be considered a metheglin for rating purposes (noticed one irate mead lover). Aroma strongly of wild honey, carbonation not unlike a prosecco, very fine, delicate bubbles roll across the tongue as you are taken away by honey. Jasmine shows up as a mild aftertaste, though not unnoticed. Semi-sweet, quite pleasant.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a semi-opaque light straw colour. Almost zero head. This one has heavy aromas of musky honey, honey comb, and sweet pineapple.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp. Tastes are lighter honey than the aroma, but still prevalent, married to sweet citrus. Some floral notes and tart green grapes.
This is a light, crisp refreshing thirst quencher. If you’re looking for a change of pace, this might well fit the bill.
