0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
On tap. Terrible. Worst thing Iíve ever drank. Pours like dirty water. Translucent and just slightly more yellow/brown than tap water. Aroma is non-existent. Taste is just awful. Toothpaste, medicinal, throat spray, chewing tobacco, and vomit. Please never make this again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fizzy, pale gold, not much head. Smells like grape suckers, honey, and flowers. Light, effervescent palate. Lots of honey, grape, and white wine. As it warms, the sweetness becomes more prominent, and the floral and herbal notes emerge, as well as a kinda unpleasant medicinal note. Actually better when ice cold...

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
650 ml. Clear golden with a lively body that maintains a small covering of bubbles. Aromas of beeswax and light flowery pollen. Flavors are the same, plus some apple cider and a hint of cinnamon developing later on. Light body is watery and sweet with a lightly astringent finish and highly carbonated. Tastes like what you would expect for a watered down mead: not great, but not a terrible thing for a summer day. I would recommend splitting the bomber bottle three or more ways though, as the sweetness gets to be a bit much after 8 ounces or so.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sample at Rogue Ales Distillery & Public House. Clear apple juice color with a minimal head and nil legs. Aroma is a little soapy with some spice behind it. Light-bodied and effervescent with flavors of sweet spices and lightly tart fruit. The finish is short and fruity. Not a winner overall.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle sample at Beoir Go Leoir. Intensely floral jasmine, honey, and white grape aroma. Slight hazy pink-green tinged straw color. Lightly sweet honey and intensely floral jasmine flavor - just like my favorite Dragon Pearl jasmine tea. I especially appreciate that the honey sweetness was subdued, allowing the jasmine tea flavor to shine through. Light side of medium body, soft - almost flat carbonation. Iím aware that Iíve given what seems like an over the top rating by comparison to all others. Iím a huge jasmine tea lover, as well as strong floral flavors, and thatís what this mead delivered. Iím not surprised that this isnít highly rated, because Iíve noticed most beer drinkers arenít all that fond of big flowery flavors.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Tom. Transparent, slightly yellowish, water color. Aroma of honey, alcohol and spices, a bit vinous. Flavor of cheap semi-dry sparkling wine with some honey and a slightly spicy finish. Light-bodied with strong carbonation. Really not my thing.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
What an abomination of the style! 14 karat fizzy pour with significant carbonation resulting in a thin white cap. Streams of bubbles percolating from the bottom of the glass. Honey, sugar cane, jasmine, and tart champaign. Not rich, syrupy, or decadently sweet as Iíve come to love. Truly a poor example...donít waste your $$$.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
650 ml bottle from Aggie Liquors. Pretty pale golden and clear with minimal head and no lacing. The aroma is sweet honey, herbs, floral and spices. Light body with a thin feel and soft carbonation. Dull watery sweet white wine flavor with nuances of the aromas. Meh.
