Just okay, for a Mead. Itís Rogue though, so I know they will get the recipe perfect very soon.

650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a murky honeyish orange/yellow with thin white head. Aroma is sweet honey, fruit and some flowers. Flavour has sweet honey comb, some fruity yeastiness and a little floral character. Pleasant enough.

Ummmm... Canít believe this is a Rogue product. Pours a pale straw with NO HEAD. Pours like a Sprite or any cheap soda. What little aroma there is smells fresh. Thatís about the peak of this beer. Taste has no balance. Itís all sweet and sour. Itís lemonade and Sprite. Palate is sticky and pasty. I hate it.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Hazy pale yellow with white head. Very cider-like. Lots of honey and quite floral, mild tea qualities. Quick finish, light body.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2014 22 oz bottle. Aroma: obviously strong honey, but also floral with hints of SweetTarts candy. Taste/Palate: feels thin for a mead; starts sweet, bubbly, and crisp, and finishes tart and sweet, with a slight dryness in the aftertaste. This was an interesting experiment, but it?s not one I need to try again anytime soon.

Poured from a 22. OK itís a mead. The aroma was actually pretty decent. It had a nice floral nose with hints of peaches. Taste is like eating a tube of lip gloss made for 8 year old girls. The aftertaste has the typical Rogue skunk. Must be that "free range coastal water". Somebody get me an IPA to wash this down!

Pours a semi-opaque light straw colour. Almost zero head. This one has heavy aromas of musky honey, honey comb, and sweet pineapple. Mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp. Tastes are lighter honey than the aroma, but still prevalent, married to sweet citrus. Some floral notes and tart green grapes. This is a light, crisp refreshing thirst quencher. If youíre looking for a change of pace, this might well fit the bill.

"Expecting a big sticky sweet high abv mead and got this deliciously refreshing treat in stead. Maybe a little overrated in my head as it was such a nice change of pace. Very floral, with light honey and refreshing herbals. Brought home a bottle. Wow-did NOT sit well. Overwhelmingly perfume and prickly with little else going on after a few months."

Iím not sure why this stuff is so low-rated. For mead-light itís pretty decent. The pour is like cider, the nose is honey, flowers and champagne yeast. Taste is honey, flowers, and, well, fizzy water. Overall itís a serviceable summer beer alternative.

This beer got a lot of recommendations so i tried it. It wasnít bad, but i think it got over hyped. Slightly cloudy/hazy pour with a fast-fading white head. The nose has a bit of floral wildflower honey, light herbal character and a touch of white pepper. Jasmine comes out in after taste. Slightly zesty with a touch of citrus fruit. Not a mead with a ton of character, but itís reasonably thirst-quenching and has some character.
