Cloudy amber color with a medium white head. Ripe citrus aroma. Taste is grapefruit, raisins, some toffee, and of course a nice hoppiness. Light to medium body. Balanced, bitter sweet ending. Excellent.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, few pale cream colour bubbles not forming a head. Good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Caramel malts dominate the start. Spicy orange hops on the backend. Dry finish and a spicy linger. Not bad but slightly too malt dominant.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Clear golden amber with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is caramel malt, pine, spice, earthy hops, bitter grapefruit. Taste comprises candied orange peel, caramel maltings, candyfloss, light spice, bitter tropical vibes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter hop rinse. Decent enough DIPA.

Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a hazy golden colour, with no head. Aroma of citrus, floral hops and carmel. Grapefruit hop flavour, with grassy notes and a mellow fruity sweetness. Finish was hay, toffee and gentle hops.

Tap. Hazy amber pour with a big white head. Citrus, pine, passion fruits, grapefruits, floral. Strong carbonation. Soft body but a medium to full body. Sweet bitter. Hides the alcohol well. Nicely done

Wow! Amongst the finest IPAs available on the market today. A hazy amber pour with minimal head. Strong & bitter hops that finish sweet. A MUST for all Hopheads! Highly recommended.

650ml bottle shared with Finn and Kjell at Café Sånn. Patchy surface. Fragile lacing. Hazy orange coloured body. Ripe citrus on the nose. Rich taste of fresh and dried fruity hops, apricot, pine, and orange. Mid-dry, well-rounded bittersweet ending. Warming alcohol. Nice (Tromsø 23.08.2014).

650 ml bottle from grocery store. Pours a cloudy amber color with a medium white head that has fair retention. The aroma was big and bold with mixed citrus. The taste was not quite so bold as the nose would suggest, I get grapefruit, mango, grapes, persimmons; all set nicely in a moderately malty caramel base. The palate was full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finished medium in duration and dry. Overall: This is the first Rogue beer I’ve had in several years and I’m pleasantly surprised as its not that bad. Paired nicely with a homemade anchovy pizza.
