Bottle from Proof. Deep orange pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, pine, cake batter, fruity pebbles and caramel malts. Good juicy tropical fruit flavor with cake batter sweetness and a mild bitter end. Not bad, shockingly resembles Hop Gun.

One of Rogue’s better recent offerings. Aroma is amazingly fresh. Flavor has lots of pine and citrus. Creamy body. Nice beer.

Poured from a bomber. Orange pour with a finger on head. Very good carbonation. Very tropical aroma. All of those 7 hops seem to play well together. Smooth sweet tasting IPA. Nice lingering after taste. Grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest or peel. Top notch beer -would definitely seek out again.

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Dark orange pour with a dense white head. Big aroma of bold grapefruit rind, milder tangerine, and fresh cut roses. Great flavor with a healthy amount of grassy and piney bitterness and enough citrus to bring it all together without being a "balanced" DIPA. The bitterness lingers on the palate but for my tastes this is just right. Very little to find fault with; an awesome beer!

Great, intense hop aromas and flavors. Hop flower, lupulin, pine, sticky syrup and pit fruit. Complementary malts carry the hop through the palate. Lots of character and complexity.

bomber from ijai beverage, ojai, CA. I have had a lot of good Rogue Bombers and some bad ones. My guess is that the bad ones are bad because they are old, and because rogue refuses to add use by or sell by or bottled on dates on their beers. i cant understand this. would you buy milk, no matter how good, or "organic", or from some fancy-pancy cows, if you didnt know how old it was? WTF. But I digress. This beer must be fresh, because it tastes fresh and is a truly outstanding IPA. The 7 hops together add a complexity rarely seen in an IPA. A nice peppery, citrusy, floral glow enhances the experience. Extremely highly recommended.

Bottle. Translucent, shimmering amber. Tall fluffy white head. Big floral and citrus hops mingling with citrus and hints of tropical fruit. Caramel in the aroma as well. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, strong floral hops, pine needles, citrus, tropical fruit notes and hop oils. Body is medium and slightly chewy with a dense, bubbly carbonation along with a slightly oily feel. Ends with more floral hops, wet hops, pine notes, tropical fruit, chewy caramel, sweet malt and softer citrus. Yummy!

22oz bottle from Brewmaster’s. Orange hue, murky clarity with fully diminishing white head. Virtually no lacing. Super hoppy grapefruit and citrus on the nose. Strong bitter grapefruit hop all the way through the experience. It was somewhat overwhelming, but in a good way. "oh that’s hoppy" It was very crisp on the palate. I will buy this again for sure!

22oz bottle. Thick pour, sticky orange color. Light tan head. Floral hops aroma, huge hops smell, stinky, citrus, grass, pine, resin, honey, floral, big hops. Big IPA bite. I love it! Oily texture. Bitter hops, pine, citrus, sweet malts, pale grains. Finishes with loads of citrus, so fresh. Delicious. ROGUE NATION. (3957)
