Bottle. Pours a hazy amber orange with a light tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with light pine and some earthy grains. Flavor starts with light pine but is mainly sweet citrus with just a touch of sweet grains and earthiness.

Sampled at AC Beerfest 2014. Poured a hazy gold color with a small foamy off white head. Aroma is floral with notes of sweet sugary citrus. Taste of malty caramel, old citrus fruit, and pine.

Amber color. Aroma is grassy, floral hops. Taste is pine hops, with sweet malt background, some black pepper spiciness and tingle and some citrus hops. Quite complex. Highly carbonated. An excellent IIPA.

Bomber from Whole Foods and Capone’s. Pours hazy copper with 2-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, caramel malt, black peppery spice. Tastes floral, dry, piney, with caramel malt, spicy florals, and a hoppy finish. Decent, but for 7 hops I’d expect more, and for 49 hops I’d expect more squared.

Bottle. Hazy. Yellow color with a nice white head. Hoppy and malt aroma. It has some nice earthy aromas. A rich malty and earthy flavor with a good bitter aftertaste.

The aroma is Hops, citrus, spruce. Pours a slightly cloudy copper/orange with an off-white head, hangs around to about 1/4 inch, the head is creamy with excellent lacing. The taste is medium bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish bitter. A very good IPA.

Bomber into Fanfan La Tulipe - nose is citrus, flower petals, and slightly grassy. Wonderful flavor and crisp. What a great beer to have after working 9.5 hours at a baseball game that ended with a loss. ABV hidden. Malty Malterson is there saying chop chop cheerio. Only complaint is the body: a tad thin. The ole ball n chain approves. Quite hoppy but not exactly bitterface inducingly so.

TomDecapolis (4579) - Milton, Delaware, USA - APR 3, 2014
Pours a deep orange amber with a small bubbly off white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, citrus and pine. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, caramel and tobacco.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a mostly transparent golden orange with eggshell lacing. Smells solid; a nicely balanced hop profile of juiciness and bitterness with notes of citrus and some sweetness from the pale malt. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Solid, but nothing special.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Hazy, bright coppery orange with a 3-finger pale ph very good lacing. Aroma of pine, tangerine, tropical fruit, dry grass and caramel. Taste of pine, tropical fruit, tangerine, and caramel. Medium/full body and medium/high carbonation yield a very pleasant mouthfeel. A tasty, well balanced IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
