Amber with a decently thick white head. Aroma is strong pine with a touch of resin. Flavor is bright pine well balanced with a pleasant malty sweetness. Finishes clean with a bit of bright citrus. Nice flavors, very well balanced and incredibly easy to drink. Wife: 3.75

650 ml bottle from grocery store. Pours a cloudy amber color with a medium white head that has fair retention. The aroma was big and bold with mixed citrus. The taste was not quite so bold as the nose would suggest, I get grapefruit, mango, grapes, persimmons; all set nicely in a moderately malty caramel base. The palate was full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finished medium in duration and dry. Overall: This is the first Rogue beer I’ve had in several years and I’m pleasantly surprised as its not that bad. Paired nicely with a homemade anchovy pizza.

Very smooth, sedimentary lacing dictated the timeline of beer extinction. Hop on vine resin scented glass in the aftermath.

Flaske 660ml på Cafe Sånn. Spandert av Rune og delt med ham og Kjell 23 Aug 14. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. Svakt uklar. Rik fruktaroma. Fersken & aprikos. Smaken har preg av syrlig frukt & bær. Appelsin & rips. Blir veldig tørr & bitter etter hvert.

Bottle. Pours clear, dark golden, nice white head. There are 7 hops in aroma! Fruity, floral. Nice body, short but very good bitterness. Very easy-drinking. It’s 8% ABV, so maybe too easy. Very good.

On tap @ Rogue PDX. Dark orange colored beer with white foam. Nose is rather floral and grassy. Some fresh leaves and a bit of earthiness. Sweet caramel and bread. Fairly piney. The flavor is a touch on the sweet and malty side, but there’s a really pronounced floral and grassy hop profile. A lot of pine bitterness and flavor. Almost herbal.

Opaque orange, lacing foam. Grapefruit, melon, pineapple and oily hops in the aroma. Oily earthy hopbitter flavor with lots of citrus, peppermint and hints of white pepper. Overwhelming bitter taste, lasting long. (Houston 201408)

(bottle, 66cl) Hazy, amber to copper colour with a big and firm, slightly tanned foamy head. Biscuity malty aroma with notes of caramel and honey, backed by floral, fruity and slightly herbal hops, including citric and lighter tropical accents. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Biscuity cara-malty base with complex and drying hoppy flavours: flowery, moderately fruity and mildly herbal accents can be found; moderately dry and hop bitter finish with notes of herbs and a touch of black tea, rounded up by a delicately malty sweetness. Balanced and complex IPA. 19.VIII.14

On tap, poured a deep golden hue w/ small white head and some sticky lacing. Huge fresh hop aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a bold bitter finish of lasting duration. Tastes are tangerine, pine, and grass. Medium bodied and balanced mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
