14th August 2014
GBBF Day 3. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, few pale cream colour bubbles not forming a head. Good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Caramel malts dominate the start. Spicy orange hops on the backend. Dry finish and a spicy linger. Not bad but slightly too malt dominant.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Central City Liquor store, Surrey
Hazy copper color with medium sized head. Good aroma of hops, but also very nice, lean biscuity malt and light lemony touch. Agile and lean mouthfeel; very good flavor, sapient mix of biscuity malts, caramel and toffee; moderate sweetness; good bitterness with some jammy fruitiness.
Fresh, candyish, satisfying and dangerous.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, dark golden to light amber beer with a small light beige head. The aroma is very hoppy, with resins and pine cones. Crystal malt kind of sweetness. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, with a smooth carbonation and quite a lot of of bitterness. Pine cones, resins and malty sweetness. Lasting bitter and fruity finish. Quite nice this one, even though it’s probably a bit old already. 150124

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy lively orange-amber character. The aroma has a lot of chewy malts - bit crystally. The hops are definitely a mélange, bit of white wine, pears in syrup, and maybe a touch of peach. The taste is similar, a touch chewy and pale fruit, and the finish is the usual Dipa mix of sticky malts, touch of hops and a bit of alcohol.
