GBBF Day 3. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, few pale cream colour bubbles not forming a head. Good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Caramel malts dominate the start. Spicy orange hops on the backend. Dry finish and a spicy linger. Not bad but slightly too malt dominant.

Bottle from Central City Liquor store, Surrey
Hazy copper color with medium sized head. Good aroma of hops, but also very nice, lean biscuity malt and light lemony touch. Agile and lean mouthfeel; very good flavor, sapient mix of biscuity malts, caramel and toffee; moderate sweetness; good bitterness with some jammy fruitiness.
Fresh, candyish, satisfying and dangerous.

Slightly hazy lively orange-amber character. The aroma has a lot of chewy malts - bit crystally. The hops are definitely a mélange, bit of white wine, pears in syrup, and maybe a touch of peach. The taste is similar, a touch chewy and pale fruit, and the finish is the usual Dipa mix of sticky malts, touch of hops and a bit of alcohol.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours light amber with a foamy white head. Aroma is rather light stone fruit - with hints of tropical fruits. Makes me think a bit of Mosaic. Med body or better. Suddenly there’s a lot of mixed hop which includes citrus. The aromas are a bit subdued now. Getting a nice little hop burn. There’s some light caramel holding up the hop, but per the name it’s all about hop. Really juicy and tasty - bordering on dank. Or perhaps passing the border. Like it a lot.

On tap @ Rogue PDX. Dark orange colored beer with white foam. Nose is rather floral and grassy. Some fresh leaves and a bit of earthiness. Sweet caramel and bread. Fairly piney. The flavor is a touch on the sweet and malty side, but there’s a really pronounced floral and grassy hop profile. A lot of pine bitterness and flavor. Almost herbal.
