Got a growler of this at Outpost in Joo Chiat, Singapore. So good, I went back and got another one. Not too strong of an alcohol flavor that I get in other DIPAs.

12oz bottle from the shelf, no date apparent, drunk 5/17/16. Assumedly fairly fresh.
Large, foamy, off-white head tops a light amber-bronze body with high clarity. Moderate to strong retention on the head.
Cherry, juicy lime, light earth, hints of pineapple and ending with a large amount of ruby red grapefruit. There’s a strong undercurrent of woody, dank, spicy character and a pretty strong mint-like note that is interesting but odd. Malts show light bread and touches of dry toffee while alcohol is concealed and the beer is clean.
Cherry, lime, grapefruit and dank, vegetal, woody notes seem pretty straightforward, with base malt sweetness balancing properly and attenuation seeming to be medium-high. There’s a really strange mint-lime-basil flavor that is intriguing but rather out-of-place in the beer. As well, while there’s no heavy resin or huge bitterness, it’s a bit more malty than I’d like and on the sweeter side of semi-dry.
Would be nice to know how old this was....but alas I guess Rogue doesn’t care enough to date their hoppy beers....

Pailhead (6278) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - MAY 27, 2016
Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, caramel, candied orange, mild grapefruit, and grass. It pours a transparent amber with a two finger off-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is a good amount of thin sticky lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus, light fruit, and a touch of caramel. The finish has light-moderate citrus hops, grapefruit, and some candied orange. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.

kajser27 (1129) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 27, 2016
Amber-orange colored, bit unclear, off white creamy medium head, good lacing. Aroma is of malt and caramel, some orange hard candy, tropical fruity, but mostly the hops are subdued. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, caramel, orange hard candy, medium tropical fruits, some light floral and citrus notes, medium bitterness, mineral, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. The guys at the shop brought the bottle from the basement but it seems the Atlantic voyage did its part before... hops dead Jim... (bottle, Bierboutique, Graz)

Pours hazy medium golden with a creamy head. Lots of citrus and fruit in the aroma. Interesting flavor. Not very bitter but it does have a bit of a bight. Somewhat sweet on the front end with a bit of pine in the finish. Over time it does pucker along the back sides of the tongue a bit.

You can’t always trust Rogue, but this time they made something good. Typically honey-orange colored beer with a small foamy head. Aroma is kind of subtle, but with notes of especially orange and flowers. Tastewise some sweet orange as well but with a pungent and fresh grassy feel to it. Slightly perfumed as well, but not unpleasant.

330ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Orange gold amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, mango, citrus, hop. Taste is malt caramel, sweetish, with mango, orange, pine, hop resins and grapefruit bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy orange with thin off white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, pine, and some orange citrus. Taste is moderately sweet with a mild to moderate bitter finish. Flavors of pine, caramel, toffee, spices. Overall a pretty solid IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
