Hazy dark amber to copper cored pour with a 2 finger, soapy beige head. Aroma starts with super fruity hops with a nice bite, a full gamut of citrus, lots of floral and a little tart tropical fruit, then some tart berry, mild toast, sweet biscuit and some floral/fruity notes that I can’t exactly pin down. Flavor is tree and berry fruit, caramel and biscuit up front, then citrus, floral, passion fruit-tropical, earthy and herbal hops, lots of fruity, berry perfume and light, but noticeable spicy, phenolic notes. Medium body, oily, syrupy and a hint of creaminess throughout along with a medium carbonation. Really tasty stuff, there are a couple off notes, but overall it was very enjoyable.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Pours redly hazy with a big tanned head. Smell of pine, resins, spice and hints of grapefruit - quite refreshing and inviting. Moderate to medium sweet, distinct pine, woody and spice flavors, juicy tendensies, complex fruity hops and ends off with a heavy piny bitter tail with lots and lots of resins. This is very good stuff

From the 650 ml. bottle. Copper-amber pour with lingering, foamy cream, colored head. Some haze. Aroma of resin, floral, and roasted malts. As expected hops are more forward. The body is medium to full. The taste is a hop utopia with a lot of resiny and floral characters intermixing with the malts. Big bitter bite to finish and even a hint of fruitiness.

650ml bottle at home. Beautiful orange, slightly cloudy colour, off-white creamy head. Impressive hoppy nose: green/grassy, floral, citrus and tropical fruits and pine. Big bitter punch in the taste, firm fruity tones with mango, peach, grapefruit and herbal hoppiness. Caramel and toffee sweet, grainy malty backbone. Warming alcoholic burn. Lingering sweet, fruity and bitter aftertaste, dry like an English tea too. Medium carbonation, big body and flavours, oily almost sticky mouthfeel. Very well executed imperial IPA.

At just on chilled and into a chalice. Sparkling, deep amber to copper in body with no visible life. Head builds off the pour to a messy half inch but fades rapidly. Initial honey whiff melts, and I mean melts, into an all hoppy, vinous, lemongrass, camphorous, ’knock your socks off and dig in’ humulus lupulus excursion. There is malt in there but fades and is like the ignored cousin in the corner of a pumping wedding. Eucalypt, bay leaf, Vietnamese mint, lemon peel, slight pine, slight parsley, slight inkling of freshly mown grass and then the tight, bitter fruit coming through like peach, honeydew, guava and Sauvignon grapes. On the palate is it quite medicinal, herbal; bordering a chilled Chinese tea, with minty notes freshening the breath. Quite dry; every part of that aroma grips the palate like a hop soup. Residual, this one dwells long time. Bitter, but not assertive, but this nasty ass IPA lingers way beyond bed time. Body is medial with low, spritzy effervescence. Fruit or any esters are well subdued under the raw hopping. Sour, bitter, tight and tidy. Refreshing? No!, Hoppy? Yes master! Quaffable...., well I am impressed. A Rogue I can drink.., no offence Rogue. Raw, rough and loveable. (65,cL, BB 30/08/15, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Pours a nice amber gold. Aromas of pine, apricot and citrus. Taste is aspirin, pine comb and behind it all, toasty malt. Bitterness is milder than expected. Full body with mild carbonation. Overall good. I would probably drink it again.

Total citrus bomb. Heaps of orange, orange rind, grapefruit, lemon, pine, a hint of mintiness. Taste is similar but with some alcohol heat. The malt sweetness just barely hangs on under the brutal onslaught of hoppiness. What is there is a bit caramely and perhaps biscuity? Dry finish.

Bottle my brother-law brought over. Pours a not quite see through copper colour, fluffy creamy colour head and piles of lacing. Nose is just awesome, obviously hops, citrus mainly and sweet caramel malt. Tastes sweet, malty, bitter, citrus, biscuit, touch lemon. Really awesome smell, great stuff.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy, orange brown colour with a small, light beige head. Hoppy aroma of pine, citrus, grapefruit and some caramel. The flavour has more grassy hops, pine and grapefruit. Has a rich and slick mouth feel, and a heavy bitterness. A solid and hoppy DIPA. Maybe a bit one dimensional, but solid though.
