Bomber. This bad boy is well filtered. Clear golden with a gold tinted two finger head and time seems to stop as it falls. It leaves a thick layer of lacing. A pleasant citrus aroma. The first sip is a big bitter hop bite. Plenty of alphas here! I taste citrus, passion, and tropical fruits. Some rye notes as in something like Hallertau. And very late I get some really earthy notes of something. The aroma becomes rye at the finish. This is one that you have to stay with and if you do it gets more fun.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Muddy orange pour, the head is sticky and white. There isn’t really much of an overly apparent nose on this, but the beer drinks with a solid, blood orange acidity, thick on the tongue. Warms the soul, a great sipper for a Sunday afternoon. (#5463, 3/16/2014)

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Solid brew. Hoppy aroma prominent suggests high carbonation. Slightly foamy but perfect head. Citrus sensibility. The hops are bold. Smooth wash down. Distinct flavors match the booze. Full-bodied. Balanced beer. Rogue seems to be putting out bold and complex beers as of late.

The hoppy taste and aroma this beer show is my favorite. I like it very much. I enjoy it.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is dangerously drinkable. Despite the claim of 90 IBU I found this to be very quaffable and sessionable, which is annoying because I have but the one bottle. Lovely hop array, fantastic sweetness, brilliantly refreshing. I really rate this as a fantastic example of a DIPA and would readily share this with anyone wanting to know what would be a good beer to start on.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Foggy copper with quarter inch of bubbles. Aroma is hop, hop, hop - grapefruit and tropical fruit principally. Once you sip it, the hop aroma and bitterness is assertive but not overbearing. There’s a pleasant warming sweetness on the finish. Easy to enjoy.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a translucent dark gold colour with thick chunky off-white head and lots of sticky legs. Quite a faint nose, some wet yeasty resinous hop with alcohol and a little bit of biscuity caramel malt as it warms up. Taste is lots of different hops: bitter and dry along with some grassy lemon. A little bit of spice. Crisp IPA with a nice variety of hop flavour.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep amber slightly hazy pour. Nice fine foamy head. Lots of hops flavors - fruit, pine, citrus. Rich malty backbone. Really solid IPA/DIPA (it's somewhere in between). Also one of the most un-Rogue tasting Rogue beers, in a good way, if that makes sense.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Panama City Beach, Fl - Kwiker Liquor #2 - 22 oz bomber. Dark copper pour, slightly murky, soft, silky off-white head that leaves a nice coat of bubbly lacing. Aroma has some organic, natural hints to it, not just your typical spruce - some nuttiness. Flavor is full-bodied with some yeasty notes, a bit of light citrus bitterness, some nuttiness and some patented Rogue house taste. Nice thick mouthfeel. Pretty solid.
