4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Indra (2473) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - MAR 19, 2013
22oz. bottle. Rich, malty aroma of dark chocolate, black bread, faint molasses, roast and coffee. Solid ebony in color with a lasting, creamy dark tan head, also I was happy discover that this is unfiltered, or at least bottle-conditioned. Flavor profile is full of sublimely roasty grain, bready malts, dark cocoa and coffee, some faint dark caramel in the background, and a light dose of earthy, gently bitter hops showing up late. Mouthfeel is smoothly effervescent and mostly dry, body is light to medium. Very nice to have some unfiltered lager for a change, and this is excellent.

Chopp. Black colour, small nice light brown head, good lacing. Roasted malt indeed in the sweet like aroma with chocolate, coffee and dark fruits. Good mouthfeel. So pleasant a roasted maltiness in the sweet flavour along with chocolate, dark fruits, licorice and a good roasty bitterness in the finish.

Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, cacao, black rye bread and a fairly dry finish with a certain spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Countbeer (2852) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2013
Bottle @ Kiss The Kitchen Floor or better known as ZZT VI (2013): kindly shared by dEnk:
Smaller sized brown head which changes into some brown bubbles on the side, on top of black ish colored beer with a brown edge.
The aroma has lots of corn, some carbo gass, some roasted malts and a hint of bay leaf/liquorice.
The flavour has a clean roast, again some liquorice and bay leaf notes, hint of hops, caramelised malts, bitter, cacoa and some chocolate.
Aftertaste is bitter with liquorice, darker herbs and a hint of chocolate.
Low carbo, soft light creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a creamy texture. What a surprise, quite a nice beer.
