COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rogue Fresh Roast is made with Rogue Farms barley fresh roasted at the brewery. The barley is taken directly out of the roaster and rushed 273 feet over to the brew kettle. We don’t think it gets much fresher than that, and we know you’ll taste the difference.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with light head. Aromas of brown sugar and barley. Flavors of wet roasted barley and metallic grains. Ok for what it is but an expensive version of a cheap beer.

65 cl bottle.
Pours dark brown color with a medium sized off-white head. Roasted malts and toffee on the nose, subtle coffee, mild hops and spices. Flavor is malty and a bit nutty, peppery spices, roasty notes and some burnt tones on the finish. Bitter and spicy palate. Interesting.

Tasty beer. I'm not sure I notice the freshness of the roast malt. Nice looking pour, crisp taste with a nice bite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

what a dark umber beauty. fresh roasted coffee aroma. flavors full of bold malt, coffee, and earthiness. usually not a fan of brown ales, but this one’s a tasty exception. definitely recommended for malt fans.

Slightly hazy amber color with beige head. Aroma has earthy hops and a touch of sweet coffee. Taste is mostly hoppy but on the finish there is a slight roastiness. Overall it tastes like a black IPA, quite good.

Bottle shared @ ChrisO after GBBF Day 2. Clear brown color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, soft roast, quite hoppy, chocolate, nicely bitter. Decent to medum body and carbonation. Very nice, but is it a brown ale? Oh well, nice beer anyway.. :)
