3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Looks light a light lager with a small but durable head.
The aroma and flavor reflect a delicate, rather light pilsner. Nicely clean and refreshing. Longer lasting hop finish than expected. Light body but not watery. A little dry in the finish.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Rogue Hop Farms in Independence, OR on 1 June 2013.
Poured a hazy light golden colour with a thin halo of white head. Aroma of grain, floral hops and bread. Light malt flavour, some astringency in the pine hop bitterness. Finished with biscuity malt and grassy hops.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear golden color with light white head. The aroma is light with some hay, grass and some citrus. The taste was lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Very smooth, clean and light the status quo pilsner but nothing very unique about it.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
I poured a 22oz bottle into a pilsner glass. There was no freshness date. I got this at #BBC13.
Appearance: A slightly hazy body with a pale/white gold hue. Plenty of carbonation consistently visible. Forms an average sized, bright white, fluffy head which laces and retains quite well.
Smell: Standard all-malt pilsner aroma. A hint of lemon, some hay.
Taste: Rogue recently started growing their own ingredients for a line of beers bearing the "Chatoe Rogue" or "Rogue Farms" label. While this is certainly commendable, simply providing their own ingredients doesnít necessarily equal a better-tasting beer. The "Good Chit Pilsner" is evidence of this as it tastes and drinks like any other good, solid, all-malt pilsner - just with a higher price tag.
A lightly pale malt flavor throughout, with the classic bottom-fermenting yeast presence. I do notice a bit of spicy hops at the crest of the swig and a subtle lemon flavor on the finish, which is nice, but nothing worth raving about. These tastes actually linger on the tongue a bit, though itís a tolerable, almost pleasurable sensation. Iíd take this over an adjunct lager any day, but Iíd need more taste and memorable characteristics for me to rave about it.
Drinkability: If thereís one thing to give "Good Chit Pilsner" credit for, itís the fact itís extremely drinker-friendly. The mild, clean palette is delivered via a thin, crisp mouthfeel thatís actually quite refreshing. At 5.2% ABV itís got a little more weight and body than your average fizzy yellow lager, but is still light enough that it can be appreciated by drinkers of all calibers.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber: pale yellow. Pure white, creamy head. Excellent lacing. Vegetal nose. Think cauliflower. Very dry. Tangy up front moving to slight, lingering sour. Props to the craft and effort that went into this bottle, but pass for me though I do by nature, tend towards a meal in a glass and am less inclined to the Pils in general. ~m

650 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits. Pours a lightly cloudy pale straw colour with small white head. Aroma is grains, lemon, grass and herbs. Flavour is grainy with some lemon zest and a mellow grassy/herbal bitterness. Carbonation gentler than average. Pleasant.

Beer was very hoppy with slight citrus tastes. At first taste the hops were over powering but mellowed down after getting a few sips in.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours hazy yellow, with a very slight lime green tint. Lots of visible ingredients floating about, which is a plus for me. Great taste. One of the best American-made pilsners out there. Balanced!

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap served in a pilsner glass at B&D Gastropub. Pours clear pale golden with medium white fluffy head. Aroma is nice floral hops, little carbonation, light body, medium big bubble lacing. Taste is crackery pilsner malt and lgiht crisp hop finish. Pretty good, but a little more hop balance would be better in my book.
