Formerly Chatoe Rogue Good Chit Pilsner.
Good Chit Pilsner is made with Rogue Farm barley that we Floor-Malted in small batches. Floor Malting is an old fashioned, 8 day process that includes steeping, germination, raking, roasting, bagging and hands-on love 24 hours a day. "Chit" refers to the start of the rootlets that emerge from the embryo of the kernel once steeping is complete and germination begins.

Pours a hazy, straw gold with a foamy white head and lacing. It has a mild aroma of malt and faint hops. The flavor is earthy malt and hops up front with a bitter, more balanced finish over a light body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the better pure non German Pilsener beers that i have had. You can tell that the ingredients were very fresh and manicured. It comes through in the nice sweet taste with good complex sugars.

Crystal clear light golden. Small creamy white head. Aroma projected nicely from the glass, certainly ’farm fresh’ aroma (WI here) hay, straw, grass, grain; very light fruity, floral, light sweet/honey. Quite nice. Light to almost medium body, not in the least thin. Flavor much the same with a farm fresh quality, toasty, light sweet. Nice biscuity dry finish. Some minerals. Fairly creamy. Balanced and super smooth. Excellent, well-made beer. Ridiculously easy to drink.

22 oz. bottle. It pours a pale golden color with a thin white head. The aroma is very good with hot wort maltiness, and a potent floral, lemon herbal hop character. The flavor balance is tipped toward the hops with lots of floral flavor and bitterness. A little spice and herbals in there as well. The malt is definitely in the back seat, but provides a nice support of light dough and crackers. It finishes very floral and bitter. Smooth body and clean. Great Pilsener.

On tap at flying goat A: yellow straw with excellent clarity and spotty lace. S: grain, slightest of old world hops. Vert subtle overall. T: sweet grain and bitty touches of tannin. A little estery. M: thin with smooth carb. This is spot on. O: good example of the style. Seems a hare dry on the flavor, but otherwise good pilsner. Serving type: on-tap 11-15-2011
