Situated just across from 40 acres of Rogue hops, 119 colonies of bees were carefully kept and fed and the honey was uncapped, extracted, filtered, and finally infused into a refreshing Honey Kolsch ale.

22 oz. bottle. Clear pee yellow color with small head. Aroma is indeed honey and light pilsner/pale malts. Flavor is identical to the nose. Grainy texture. Light body with a sweet honey finish. Real simple and drinkable. Decent session type brew.

Capped 750 from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma suggests some sort of dilute aftershave. Fruit? Med body or nearly. Flavor starts sort of sweet, but then a lot of grassy hop stops that. Followed by some breadiness. Seem to be getting honey on my lips. Quite surprisingly drinkable. Honey from hops. What fortunate bees.

Pours a soft straw blonde with one finger of white head. Nose is soft bready malts with a light sweetness and grassy hop notes. Clean flavor with a light malt sweetness and crisp grassy hop character. Mild and clean with a touch of bitterness and some soft fruity notes. Very easy drinking.

This is a light and crisp beer. It’s dry and refreshing, but I was hoping for more of a honey taste which wasn’t as evident as the bottle suggests. A bit sweeter than a normal kolsch though.

Smells like a sweet kolsch. Slightly hazy pale blonde color amd a white head. Tastes like a kolsch but sweeter. Its a light medium body. Like what a kolsch should be. Try it

REally wanted to like this one especially at the price tag. Really like this style but this one is dry and buttery.

Bottle poured into flutes. Pours a light golden straw in color with a pure white head. It has a light aroma with flavor notes of fruit, honey and a touch of spice. It is a light and crisp beer, very refreshing.

Pours a nice clear solar yellow with a fluffy eggshell head. Malty, yeasty aroma has a touch of honey to it. Malty flavor definitely brings out the honey, though it is more yeasty, and has a touch of hops. Texture is quite fizzy, leaving a malty finish that has A Taste of Honey. Bee-lieve it, this beer deserves some good buzz.

Appearance: clear bright yellow with a quickly vanishing bright white head; minimal lacing. Aroma: pretty floral, with undertones of grapefruit, honey (duh) and cereal. Taste: slightly sweet, flowery, with a little citrus giving way to a bit of toasted white bread. Finish: slightly slick/watery on the back end, but with a lingering cracker note and slightly bitter floral hops. Notes: Doesn’t finish quite as dry as a traditional kolsch, nor is the palate as light and effervescent. Nevertheless, the flavors were pretty good. Enjoyable, but not awesome.
