Situated just across from 40 acres of Rogue hops, 119 colonies of bees were carefully kept and fed and the honey was uncapped, extracted, filtered, and finally infused into a refreshing Honey Kolsch ale.

Hazy golden beer with a white head. Aromas of some wheat and funk. Tastes of corn mash, dirty water, some hints of lemon, and an almost non-existent dash of honey. Semi-sweet finish. Dry, yet oddly refreshing. Decent for what it is.

Bottle sample at my 5555th rating tasting at Sar HaMashkaot Ramat Gan. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear golden. Aroma of graininess, honey and fruitiness. Sweet flavor with graininess, honey and fruitiness. Medium-bodied.

750 ml bottle sample. Pours a very pale clear gold with a large white meringue-like head. Aromas are grass, lemon, chalk, and bread. Tastes are sweet (I’d say a hint of honey), a little lemon, and a little grain/earth. Light bodied, creamy, little to no carbonation after the initial vigorous pour, short grainy finish. Too sweet and not very complex.

Not getting a super amount of honey, but it's still pretty nice for a kolsch regardless. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle into a small tulip. Slight hazy golden with a decent head. Refined and appropriately mild beer. Nice subtle flavors with both bready and fruity aspects. Aroma is notably more bready than hoppy. Excellent balance O. Very refreshing and easy drinking. Super for style.

Visual: It says ale on the bottle which I bet is correct, but let’s just say it’s a lager because it drinks like one. Pours cloudy golden lager yellow with a smallish lasting creamy head, a thin layer of retention, some lacing, not that many slow singular streams. Nose: faint citrus grassy malt (lvl-2)-pungency Attack: crisp fizzy smoothness Mid-palate: mellow (lvl-5)-lager sweetness, fizzy crisp, (MAIN) malts, honey, mild lemon citrus Finish: persistent honey sweetness, very soft hopped bitter malty sweet finish. Summary: Drinks like a medium-bodied lager, like an upgraded version of the big company beers out there (Kokanee, Bud, etc.). Not terribly complex or deep, it’s a nice meal beer.

Bottle sampled at Classic City Brew Fest 2014. Pours a golden yellow with bubbly white head. Aroma is crisp malts and lager cleanliness. Taste follows, more honey malt and less of the actual honey. Not bad.

So, I thought this was light, and would have been more refreshing except for a slightly bitter middle taste. Didn’t get a sense of honey, but then this is kind of nicely sweet and pleasant a drink. Earthy aroma, pale yellow pour, it;s not a bad drink for a slower sunday recovery.
