On tap at Twisted Jimmys. Clean nose, not much to it. Light sweet character but not much else. Hazy golden yellow with thin white head. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Starts clean, a bit sweet. Some carbonic fizz, mild honey. Light hop character. Clean finish and after. More like a golden ale or blond than a kölsch.

Hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of cereal grain with a slight floral note. Smooth mouthfeel with medium body and bready malt flavor. Quite nice Kolsch.

On draught at Rogue Public House & Distillery. Clear honey golden color. Aroma is lightly floral with sweet honey. Taste is grass, flowers, biscuit, and definite honey. Crisp, slightly bitter, with a great honey kick. A refreshing kölsch.

Poured from tap to glass. Straw hue with white head that dissipated. Aroma is straw, honey, sulphur, grassy, cereal. Mouthfeel is really refreshing with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness throughout with a slight bitterness in the following and a slightly sulphur but clean finish. Overall, this is a nice brew.

Into a stange, this was a pretty good looking somewhat trying to be a hazy burnt yellow to orange color with a slight one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The smell had a fairly good enticing honey aroma just trying to get me to want more. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there as much as it wanted to be almost perfect but wasn’t. Overall, for the most part, this was good for the style and good to me.

Sampled on draft at Dad’s Pub this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a large foamy off white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was honey, basic lager, a bit tangy and a touch of sour mash. The flavor was tangy sour mash bread dough and a bit of honey. Short finish. Light to medium body. Not good.

BOTTLE. Pours a nice see through gold with little head, didn’t get much off the nose, typical Kolsch. A sweetish taste to start with a lovely dash of honey at the back end, maybe a tad light/watery but still good to drink on a summers day! Sourced Cellarbrations Capel
