Aroma is pale malts, slightly perfumed fruit and a hint of honey. The flavor is fruit/berries, pale malts, mild honey sweetness and a tart finish.

Aromas of raw honey, mild grass, and dust. Faint clear gold with a fading white head. Mostly dry with a touch of sweetness. Light bodied and finishes clean.

Bottle. A- Wheat, honey. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Balanced, wheat, honey. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- Very smooth and refreshing. A unique kolsch and very well done. The honey makes this above average.

In all, a very enjoyable kolsch. Although I would like to get a little more of the honey character, it adds a very nice element to this brew. The graininess is excellent; it’s highly evident in both the taste and aroma. Rogue has expertly captured the style with the light body and refreshing feel. Easy to drink and enjoy.

Sampled at esbls. Light haze in the golden beer. Light honey in the aroma with lemon and grain. The honey works. A nice beer.

750ml bottle. Aroma: light malt, with a somewhat straw scent, and a light hoppy citrus. Appearance: average sized head, fizzy with no real lacing. Sparkling cloudy yellow body. Taste: moderately acidic, vinegary. Palate: light, with alcoholic texture and lively carbonation. Finish is slightly metallic. Not bad, but not great.

Pours a solid yellow color with a small soapy head. Notes of sweet raw honey, soil, honeysuckle, sugar syrup, and breakfast cereal.

750ml bottle poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint. Golden with a two finger white head. Aroma is honey and lemon. Flavor is the same. Finishes with citrus tartness. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Anchored Inn, Brooklyn bottle ($11): Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is light hops, a bit of honey, and some grass. Taste is slightly bitter, a tad bit sweet, but mostly just a crisp easy-drinking beer. Nothing is really too impressive, but certainly there is not a thing wrong with this either.
