3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Anchored Inn, Brooklyn bottle ($11): Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is light hops, a bit of honey, and some grass. Taste is slightly bitter, a tad bit sweet, but mostly just a crisp easy-drinking beer. Nothing is really too impressive, but certainly there is not a thing wrong with this either.

pours a hazy straw yellow with a minimal white head. This beer is bitter and grainy, there are some very mild fruit and floral tastes.

Hazy gold beer with a good white head. Palate is smooth and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Light smooth malt, touch of cream. Very light honey and a whisper of somewhat insipid citrus. Light dry finish. Okay.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Honey is evident, but wish there were more. A very refreshing beer, if not super flavorful, with perfect level of carbonation (strong enough, but not overdone). Enough hops to retain my interest. If only the mass market lagers could fulfill their promise of "refreshing" by coming halfway to the drinkability of this beer. Hmm... what food do I want with this... I'd say anything you'd find in a good pub, minus the heavy or super spicy stuff. Gets better with each sip. As I said: very drinkable.

Light nose. Some floral notes, but not strong. Appearance was gold, bubbly. Very smooth drinking. Nice sweetness with some honey flavor late but not overly sweet. Was excellent match with my chicken curry Dinner. Refreshing. Rogue once again pleases.

Bomber in Santa Barbara Whole Foods. This is about as you can get from a Kolsch. Clean, crisp, refreshing. The honey is not overpowering but the touch of sweetness from the honey is a definite "value add." Well played, gentlemen.
