On tap. Honey Yellow gold with a small head and nice lacing. Sweet pleasant nose of hop, yeast and malts. Surprisingly light, crisp sweet taste that has a honeyish lingering finish. Pretty cool beer.

solidly in the "very good for the style" category. light and crisp with well done light honey in the nose and flavor, but other than that it would not be very interesting.

Light and smooth, with a nice creamy mouth feel, I’m guessing from some wheat. The honey flavor and aroma is mild, but definitely present. I think any more and it would have been distracting, any less and it would have not been noticeable enough. For someone who likes bold beers, I wasn’t overwhelmed by this beer, but it was a nice refreshing beer to enjoy on a hot day.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of grass, grains and soft honey. Flavor of pale malts, grassy hops, honey, grains and had a hint of some fruitiness.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy gold without much head. Aroma is light and sweet, as is the pallet. Taste is sweet but finishes slightly bitter with a tiny is aftertaste. Still pretty good.

Bottle from Queens Plaza Beer & Wine December 2013. Nice take on a traditional kolsch with the honey giving it a touch of sweetness in the flavour and the finish.

Refrigerated bomber poured into a glass. Hazy golden with one-finger white head. Aroma is light herbal hops, medium body, slightly syrupy texture, medium carbonation, and pretty good big-bubble lacing. Taste is honey, pilsner malt, with light herbal hop finish. Best kolsch I have had, probably.

Bottle. Honey and barley malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet barley malt and straw flavor. Okay - kind of bland.

On tap at Twisted Jimmys. Clean nose, not much to it. Light sweet character but not much else. Hazy golden yellow with thin white head. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Starts clean, a bit sweet. Some carbonic fizz, mild honey. Light hop character. Clean finish and after. More like a golden ale or blond than a kölsch.
