We made this braggot with our own marionberries, hops, barley, and honey. Situated across from 40 acres of Rogue hops, 119 Colonies of bees were carefully kept, fed, and smoked and the honey was uncapped, extracted, filtered and finally infused into a refreshing Marionberry Braggot.

On tap at the brewery tap Sf. Hazed chestnut brown / amber coloured pour with a lasting cream coloured pour. Aroma is harsh solvent, toffee apple, nutty malts, wet paint. Flavour is composed of strawberry shortcake, caramel, solvent, berry, jammy fruit. Warming alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, chewy, medium bodied. Not much honey.

Good job covering the abv on this one. Tastes thick and full, and obviously a little sweet with lots of florals, berry and honey on the nose and palate...but never hot. Nicely done.

From a bomber. Poured into a mug and it looks kind of like root beer including the tan foam. A berry aroma leads by plenty. I am not familiar with this variety but it smells kind of like blue berries. Flavor is complex and generally sweet. It tastes like a mead and that honey. It also has rich malts, berries, grain, and earth. The foam is never less than a half finger and helps to give a creamy feel. I don’t taste alcohol but sure can feel it! The final sip was almost pure sugary honey. Dangerously easy to drink.

Thin head of varying sized bubbles that reduces quite quickly. Sweet malty aroma with lots of ripe fruit, raisins and berries. Dominated by sweetness and fruit. Color is a very cloudy dark mahagony brown. Thick and syrupy looking from the pour. Body is a bit thinner than expected but still on the thick side. More ripe fruit, berries, sweet malts, caramel and toasted grains. Certainly has the characteristics of a fine mead from all the honey. Strong alcohol presence and warming that makes the gums tingle. Finishes sweet and malty. A decent mead but not a great one.

Tap at Qbrick. Sweet berry nose, spice, sage, with other fizzy fruitiness jumping up. Dark reddish brown color, with a creamy tan head. Thick berry initial, light plums too. Sweetness strengthens in mid palate, with grapes and more berries. Thick body. Very nice flavors and a punchy fruity nose.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber ruby color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy berry aroma. Sweetish spicy bitter berry flavor with weak hints of honey. Has a sweetish spicy bitter berry finish.

Pours clear, ruby-tinged mahogany with a thick and rather persistent buff head. Aroma of marionberries - must be marionberies! - reaches out and grabs you from half a meter away; the next whiff adds malty and honey tones to the mix. Flavor starts with a marionberry core, somewhat tart but not face-scrunching, and adds fresh malt, honey, and a bit of woody and slightly bitter hops as the taste buds fire. Mouthfeel presents firm body and a marionberry finish, if not lots of fizz. Berry good.

Draught at Imazato. Murky ruby pour with no head. Marionberry aroma with a bunch of booze behind it. Berries, dark fruit and again, a lot of booze.

Tap at stags head trying to up my braggot rates. Deep purple pour. Nose is light honey and berry. Tastes of honey, graham cracker, berry, sherry, and alcohol. Alcohol warming on finish. Almost spirit like.
