This is our second mead of the night, the 1st one we could rate. It had a nice hoppy taste.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber, bought in Edinburgh.
Murky brown appearance with a nice creamy tan head. Vinous, rich aroma with some woody character. Cocoa and some fine cellar, maple syrup and fruits in the nose. Huge, complex body. Barrique and some cocoa taste, dried fruits and cellar on the tongue. Really fine!

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark caramel pour, small head disipates quickly leaving a lace around the glass, smells of berries, honey and the usual rogue yeast and maltiness. The taste mirrors the smell, mead like flavors, a touch of honey and berries dominate the taste. Not much carbonation or tannin on the tongue. Overall itís a very interesting beer/mead. Goof flavors, very unique ale

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bought a bomber at Hangar on the wharf.
This was poured into a pint glass (actually I think thatís incorrect glassware, uh, woops, well, next time as Iím not too experienced with braggots).
The appearance was a dark brown slightly dark purple color. A quickly dissipating slim fingerís worth of white foamy head amounted to barely any lacing.
The smell had a sweet sticky depth of berry and a nice sticky sweet honey about it.
The taste was mainly sweet and carried a decent depth of honey. The aftertaste is quick and slightly misleading as it gives way to a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sipping quality about it. The carbonation seemed to be good for me. Iíve barely had many braggots so Iím unable to really gauge for the sty.
Overall, I say this was good to me. I liked it as a dessert. Iíd probably have again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer pours a dark purple like an eggplant. It has the aroma of grape Popsicles. It leads with that grape flavor and has an interesting not bad not good but different aftertaste. Very unique and surprisingly not much bite for such a high abv beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Darker pour. Very nice braggot, nice berry character, surprisingly dry considering the abv.
