I poured this in a glass mug... The liquid was hazy brown with orange hues and a tall, mayonaisse colored head that was very dense and left a lot of lacing. The smell is mostly pine and citrus peel with a background of caramel apples and cinnamon. Tastes of piney hops with hints of toffee and spice, the aftertaste is dominated by bitter grapefruit peel. This is a juicy beer with lots of soft carbonation and a dry lingering finish. These homegrown beers are some of my favorites, this did not disappoint.

Bottle @ home. Dark orange appearance with a two finger, orange/tan head. Grapefruit/orange citrusy, light piney hoppy nose with a medium malty smell. Pretty heavy pale malty body with a light to medium orange/grapefruit citrus, medium piney bitter hoppy flavor. Orange piney hoppy aftertaste.

Draft at The Bridge. Pours a semi-cloudy amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is pretty faint, but I pick up on some toast, light earthy hops, and some woodsy, grassy notes. Flavor of bitter, earthy hops hits right away with minerals, soap, grass, dry grains, and pale malts. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a dry, bitter mouthfeel. Not my style of APA.

Red / orange pour with a sour orange and berry aroma. The taste of caramel malts, fruit and hop with a grainy bitter finish.

Bottle, and it was a gusher -- foam inexorably advanced like a fifties sci-fi monster. That said, pours a cloudy red-brown with a very solid, ecru head. Nose is resiny and toasty, with camphor and nutmeg notes. Hoppy on the tongue, with those same piney notes -- I have trouble believing this is only 40 IBU, as it drinks like a dark-malt IPA rather than a dry-hopped brown ale. Finishes clean and bitter. Good, but not what I was expecting.

Bomber, pours an amber body with an off white head, light retention. Nice hop tones aromatically. Hints of grass, and herbal notes. A light pine character and mild citrus sweetness. Mild bread y malt character and some light pine and citrus to finish. Not bad.

Its always good to see another estate grown ale.Pours a cloudy burnt orange with a real creamy head.Hop aroma was hard to distinguish but earthy was more like it along with a unique malt smell.Taste was some shortlived sweetness with a lot of fresh hop grassy somewhat piney bitterness/ also roasted malt bitterness.Well carbonated, fresh and pretty unique malt and distiguished hop bitterness, will be visiting this one soon!

Hoppy beer with good malt backbone. Carbonation right there. Golden colour with creamy head. Faint hoppy aroma. Good drinkability. On tap at Cole’s.

Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 22 oz bomber. Pours a dark murky orange with a sticky, frothy off-white head that sticks around quite a while with plenty of lacing. Very fresh floral aroma with a hint of spruce in the back end. Flavor is fresh and fruity. Pick up some nectarine accents, some subtle grapefruit bitterness, some nuttiness to round it out. Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Solid.

22oz bomber. Pours a cloudy orange with a generous white head. Nice hop aroma in the nose with earthy notes. Medium body that starts out malty with a slight hot sweetness and notes of honey. Finishes slightly bitter, very drinkable. Overall: (B+)
