22oz Bomber A cloudy amber/orange pour with a short dense and lasting head. Reminds me of Brutal Bitter in appearance. Hoppy biscuity aroma with fruity overtones, pine and bubblegum. Oily body, slick with a fairly bitter bite in the finish. Hoppy somewhat sweet in flavor. Willamette really the star here. Overall a nicely done hoppy Ale.

On tap. Pours an opaque amber with an off-white head leaving some laces. Distinct caramel in the nose, somewhat biscuity. Medium-bodied, caramel and a little nuts with a distinct hop bitterness. The hoppiness is perhaps a bit harsh. More of a hoppy Amber really. 070811

Fad: Orange uklar øl med et meget lille skumhoved. Duften er tydelig Rogue gær med en smule malt og en lille citrus humle. Øllen er desværre flad hvilket giver den en støvet smag og gør den mindre drikbar.

GuilTTy (728) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - AUG 3, 2011
Bomber. Dark amber pour with a tinge of haze at the center and a thin dirty white head. Mild citrus and fresh cut grass in the aroma. Metallic, bicuity flavor with some hoppy bitterness, milk chocolate and white pepper. Nice full texture. Dry finish. Not a poor beer by any stretch but not special by any means.

22 oz. bottle from Sam’s Quik Stop Ar: Peppery nose with some juniper notes. Ap: Pours a deep hazy orange-amber with a frothy 1" manila head. Very good head retention, nice lace. T: Nice malty body balances the hop flavors. Sweetness is moderate-high and carries through to the finish. Finish is also hoppy and bitter with some pine notes. P: Medium body with a bit of stickiness. Carbonation is pretty moderate. O: Good beer.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice earthy malt with some peach and hops. Flavor is way more malty then hoppy. Not that that is a bad thing. Earthy malts up front followed by a very small oily hop. A decent easy drinking pale ale.
