Bomber poured a clear amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, bread and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light citrus with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

22-ounce bomber. Poured a nice orange-amber hue with a slighty off-white head. Aroma was a mix of caramel malts and some biscuit malts. A nice citrus hop note. Flavor had a great malt profile, the caramel malts really stood up to the nice hop bite. Hops seemed to have a really good assertiveness to them. Finish was slightly dry.

22 oz bottle: Pours a hazy orange amber with a nice amount of lacing and long lasting carbonation. Aroma is bland. Taste is harsh and bitter. I did not enjoy this at all. Great concept on the GYO, but something went horribly wrong with this recipe.

Bottle. Dark amber pour with a short, but dense, beige colored head. Nose is spicy hops, earthy notes, chewy malt, caramel, and fruit notes. Touch of wet hops as well.Taste is big caramel and malt notes, dried fruit, light citrus, spicy hops, earthy flavors and resinous hops. Body is medium-full and rather thick and chewy with a strong bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more spicy hoppiness, light pin, chewy malt, big caramel notes and citrus fruit.

HopBackDoc (473) - Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2010
Pours a light copper color with thin white head. Aroma of spicy hops. Flavor was sweet and pale malts followed by a strong dose of pine and earthy hops. Medium bodied with a nice lasting finish. I was surprised by the hop profile because it said 40 IBU on the label, but tasted like much more (not that there is anything wrong with that!)

Bottle pours a cloudy orange/red with nice off white head, lacing. Scent is caramel malts. Bready earthy taste with a nice bitter finish.

Mostly lasting white sheet lasts over the hazy straight honey hue. Soft and spicy aroma attack comes with a leafy touch that feels almost noble. Besides that, the nose is kept rather simplistic comprising mostly soft biscuity malts. On the palate, its small-bubbled very active carbonation is engaging and contrasts with the overall creaminess despite the beer being globally dry. Minimal citrus shows up in the finish that evolves toward a crisp, cleansing bitterness. A rather straightforward offering that feels lighter than it is, but is nonetheless a versatile, drinkable ale, just perhaps not a recipe that calls for a special release.

Cool GYO concept, but this can be a little stark and harsh. Malts are toasty and nutty, with a burnt-toffee flavor. Hops are very grassy and bitter. Finish and aftertaste is kind of rough, with elements of bread crust and a lingering, plant-stem-like bitterness. Bit of orange-peel-like bitterness, too. Overall, not bad, but not really my thing, either.

BMan1113VR (7788) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 28, 2010
Bottle (rating 100 for this beer it looks like) Pours with a very murky orange body and a large tan-yellow head. Aroma of orange, tangerine, marmalade, jasmine tea, caramel, vanilla, flowers and hibiscus. Flavor is bitter with out much hop flavor behind it. Some caramel, spice (hibiscus) and tea. Lively bubbles. Pretty boring, definitely not "OREgasmic"!
