Poured into a pint glass. 5.0 A: Pours a murky amber with a brownish tint. Two and a half fingers of beige creamy/frothy hybrid head. Very good retention and plenty of lacing. Really a looker. 3.0 S: The smell is incredibly weak. Some hints of caramel malts, earthy hops, and yeast. 3.5 T: This tastes a lot like a decently brewed homebrew due to the intense yeastiness I had going. Yeast gives an overall bready vibe. Caramel malts, sticky resiny hop oils, earthy and piney hops, peach and orange fruitiness. Moderately bitter. Okay, but perhaps a bit yeasty. 4.0 M: Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Chewy and somewhat creamy. Not bad here. 3.5 D: Not a bad beer, just not one that stands out in any way. It’s dominant flavor is yeastiness, which I’m not too fond off. To some extent, it seems like a homebrew that hasn’t quite finished bottle conditioning.

Bottle (in NZ). Like the multiple orgasm I gave The GrandMistress this morning, this was full bodied and long lasting. She did let me know the rating though...

On tap at Rogue SF. Pours a murky reddish-amber with a cream-colored head and a lot of bubbles. Aroma of sweet citrus hops, malt, and grass. Taste is bitter, of citrus hops, grass, malt. Lingering crisp bitterness. Nice.

Muddy amber body with an average off-white head. Mild malt and citrus hop aroma. Light sweetness balanced with a touch of hop bitterness. Good, but lacking excitement.

Pours a bright amber orange color with a white head. Nose is sweet malts, fresh baked bread, and some hop spice. Flavor is lots of solid sweet malts with bitter hops through the finish. Would drink this again.

This 22 oz Bomber poured a clear dark amber with a good sized and long lasting off-white head and lots of lacing. The nose is caramel malts, and citrus hops. Medium body and a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is much the same as the aroma, with carmel, peat and some citrus. the finish is long, dry and bitter.

Nice rich murky amber, great head retention. NOt much nose, but mines blocked anyway! Resinous up front in the mouth but then carried away with a burnt caramel malt base that I just cant cut through. Nice mouthfeel and hopping but cant get in to it unfortunately

This is a delicious APA. Aroma was all spicy hop cones- citrusy and piney. Pour was a nice dark gold with plenty of rising bubbles and a one finger white head. Taste was very good as well. Strong malt bomb in the front. Heavy roasted caramel and burnt maltiness give way to a big bitter hoppy finish. The hops dry the mouth and are very resinous. This is a complex, yet simple beer. Very nice!
