COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly Chatoe Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale.

The newest addition to the Chatoe Rogue series is Pumpkin Patch Ale, a beer made using fresh pumpkins grown in a patch that borders Rogue’s 42 acre hop yard. The pumpkins are picked, loaded into Rogue’s farm truck, driven immediately 77 miles to our brewery in Newport, quickly roasted, and pitched into the brew kettle to create a batch of Pumpkin Patch Ale.

Bottle shared by a friend. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Super spicy nose consisting of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. Malty and gingery flavor with some cinnamon before a dry finish.

This pumpkin ale poured a cloudy, deep amber colour with a nice, medium creamy style, tan coloured head. Scents include very little all spice, public washroom, Doritos, eggs and little pumpkin. First sip was creamy with flavours of toast, pumkin, allspice, small amount of clove flavour and a light almost orange tangerine flavour. Finish is smooth and creamy with a light pumkin flavour lingering.

650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a cloudy dark orange/brown with average-sized tan head. Aroma of pumpkin and typical pumpkin pie spices. Flavour is pumpkin, allspice and nutmeg with a slight roastiness. Solid pumpkin beer.

Pours a burnt orange, or orange-copper color with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is overwhelming pumpkin and spice. Pumpkin hits, slight bitterness then spices ride into a slight alcohol presence. A very well built pumpkin, balance and nothing overwhelming in the taste.

6% 750ML Bottle 3 finger soapy head red to light orange away carbination, Pumpkin(gourd)smell shows up a bit when it warms up a bit but its a little stinky otherwise no pumpkin smell when colder and just light and spicy. Taste a puree styled orange peel taste with the spices listed in this beer tasted together clove and nutmeg more then cinnomin and it scratches the throat a little. Refreashing ale that has some spice taste and some water but its mostly a puree orange peel taste so more a spiced orange peel ale then pumpkin I think but it is a pumpkin beer so I had worse and better pumpkin beers cheers

Bomber from portage MI megabev. Pour is dark orange/brown and thick and hazy. Head is offwhite, tall at first and quickly settled to a thin layer. Aromas of pumpkin, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and malty beer - basically pumpkin pie scent and a strong beer scent mixed. Taste is honestly exactly the nose, with the addition of some sour bitter hops maybe? Only very faint. Is has pretty low carbonation and is a bit watery but nothing to complain about. Finish has all of the spices listed above, with a bit of tingle and leaves the mouth slightly dry. Good rogue beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Big orange bottle from the LCBO. Pours brownish orange, hazy, with a half-inch head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of pumpkin, slight spice, with some metallic notes. Taste is very smooth - pretty standard "pumpkin ale" taste, with spices appearing at the end. Mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy. A good pumpkin ale.
