COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly Chatoe Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale.

The newest addition to the Chatoe Rogue series is Pumpkin Patch Ale, a beer made using fresh pumpkins grown in a patch that borders Rogue’s 42 acre hop yard. The pumpkins are picked, loaded into Rogue’s farm truck, driven immediately 77 miles to our brewery in Newport, quickly roasted, and pitched into the brew kettle to create a batch of Pumpkin Patch Ale.

On Tap at the "Yard House" in Meridian, ID Clear light orange witha thin white head but even sheets of white lacing. SOft light malty aroma with a hint of pumpkin and spice. Flavor was morelike a siomple brown ale with jsut a touch of the fall gourd. Clean and fresh, but not very interesting.

Go Orange... Best Pumpkin Ale I’ve had all month. Perfect balance. Smooth. Not overpowering or underwhelming. I think I found my new favorite

As far as Pumpkin beers go this was a very good one. Very nice aroma, great pumpkin flavor start to finish. Great after dinner beer or halftime escape.

Tap at Rogue. Weak head. Hazy, deeper orange brown pour. Okay pumpkin pie nose blended with a stickier, cheesy DIPA nose. Taste is softer for Rogue; not aggressively bitter. Some buttery crust. Soapier finish. Nutty, cheesy heavy DIPA body. Not my style.

Carmel hinted cardimon and aftificial pumpkin aroma. Dark amber in color with a light tan head.. cold cinnamon and caridimon start with the pumpkin coming in at the end. F-ing tasty. But the first few sips were missing of most hat flavor. Por Que, Maria?

Pours cloudy brown orange with a thin off white head. Strong clove notes in the nose with cinnamon. More earthly tasting than spiced, tastes of pumpkin with some soft fruit and a nutmeg aftertaste. One if the better pumpkin ales I’ve had

Poured from tap to glass. Orange with nice white head. Aroma is primarily pumpkin spice with some slight sugar/light caramel. Taste is smooth sweetness followed by a nice CO2 bite. Defined pumpkin initially and spices throughout. Overall, not my favorite pumkin beer as it lends the flavoring too heavily on the spicing instead of relying on the mellow fruit to provide a creamy sweetness...but not my least favorite, either. Pretty average throughout.

Poured one finger of head on a clear, dark straw colored body. The aroma is rich pumpkin and spice. The taste is malty with a nice pumpkin flavor. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Pumpkin ales are not my favorite, but this one is tolerable.

Pours a dark hazy brownish-amber. Aroma is a mix of malt and pumpkin. Taste is a mix of pumpkin, spices, malt, and light cinnamon.

Bomber. More brown than orange, clear, and a small head with very little lacing. Very good aroma, nicely spiced. Good taste, not as much spice as some others. A little more bitter than others at the end of the palate, but the pumpkin is definitely present. I think it’s not my favorite, but that may be more of an indictment of pumpkin itself instead of this particular beer. I just realized I like "spicy" pumpkin beers more than basic ones like this. Still, pretty good.
