Bottle in the lobby for RBWG. Pours clearish amber with a fine, foamy head. Loads of autumn spices in the nose, gingerbread. Light to medium sweet flavor, spicy nutmeg, bready malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, dry bread, lots of nutmeg and cinnamon. Food spiced ale.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sask89 (326) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - FEB 18, 2013
Pours a murky amber colour, almost brown, with a forty beige head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is of pumpkin with some caramel malt and muted cinnamon and nutmeg scents. Taste is mildly sweet with understated bitterness, nicely balanced. Medium body, smooth on the palate and average carbonation. Overall a solid pumpkin ale.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 joebudzjoe (625) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 17, 2013
22 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a cloudy, iced tea brown body with an off-white head that fizzles quickly. Sweet nose of pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon and clove. This is a light-to-mediumly bodied ale with most of its character based from its malt characteristics and its obvious pumpkin taste. While some pumpkin beers are over the top with sweetness or spice, this beer is mild and even has a nice hop bite to it. I’m rarely crazy over pumpkin beers, but Rogue has created a pumpkin beer that is actually not easy to get sick of.

Bottle shared by tmoney99. Pours a clear amber brown with a small bubbly off white head. The aroma had moderately sweet malts, pumpkin, and the usual pumpkin spices; actually not bad. The flavor has a short burst that resembles the nose, but finishes pretty bland. Would like to have seen the flavor hold up.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Tmoney99 (8792) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Bottle. Poured clear dark orange copper color with an average off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid pumpkin and sweet malt aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced pumpkin sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid beer.
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nsanders (244) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Orangish light brown with a tall bubbly head. Pumpkin, apple cider, brown sugar and light cinnamon aromas. Taste is light bitter, with a little spice aftertaste. Watery body with active carbonation. Good aroma, but flavor and body were a little lighter than i would have liked.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 unclemattie (3711) - Georgia, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Orange 750ml bottle. Deep copper color, light tan foam. Aroma of spice, squash, very delicate. Smells like a well spiced, pumpkin beer. Sweet malt, toasted grains, roasted squash, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spices. A bit stronger than I expected. Hearty & full bodied. (3601)

Pours dark amber. Nose of pumpkin (duh). Aroma of spice (nutmeg?) and pumpkin. Nice beer, very unusual, but I like it.

Sampled at an esbls. Light haze in a brown beer. A big off white head. Pumpkin and nutmeg in the aroma. A thin feel and light flavor. Pumpkin and spices. Ginger and light roasted flavors. I hoped there would be more substance to this.
