Wow! Fantastic for pumpkin ale. I don’t know what it is but I am really fascinated with pumpkin beer. If I see one I must try it. So far my favorite in the style is the Brurey’s Autumn Maple because it is barrel aged. I know it’s yams but same idea anyway. The spices are perfection. Aroma is rich pumpkin and spices. Alcohol is not listed. I am guessing it is because it is probably below 5%. Rogue if you are listing Please please please barrel age this beer.!!!!

Bottle. Like the orange bottle. Orangish copper color. Aroma is of spice and slightly sweet. Taste like, well, pumpkin pie. Not bad.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 swanmann (477) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Looks dark, clear mahogany with a small amount of tan foam dissipating rather quickly. Aromas of pumpkin, molasses, and a little booze. It’s got a mild sweet pumpkin flavor, also malty and effervescent. Medium bodied and just a hint of bitterness in the finish. It’s a great pumpkin brew, not trying to be a pumpkin pie in a bottle, just showcasing the natural sweetness, although it is also just a touch vegetal.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 FunkyBrewster (1515) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 26, 2012
Bottle. Pours a deep slightly hazy orange with a creamy off white head. Aroma has some subtle pumpkin notes with most of the standard spices, cinnamon, nutmeg. Flavor starts with the same, a little vegetable-y with some spiciness, a bit on the potpourri side with a sweet finish. Medium body and a soft carbonation. A little heavy on that potpourri note but not bad
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Butters (3356) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Sampled on Christmas Eve 2012 with Kristen. Pours a semi clear dark amber copper with small ring of khaki head. Very pleasant nose of cinnamon, clove, and star anise, almost potpourri. Flavor is more pumpkin and earthy vegetal, but in a very good way, not the typical ’off flavor’ vegetal. Bitterness on the backside and the lingering aftertaste is not that good. Pumpking still reigns supreme!
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 AGAquino (654) - San Juan, PUERTO RICO - DEC 22, 2012
Nice aroma of spices, nutmeg and pumpkin; flavours of sweet malts, pumkin, slight citrus and lingering spices. Like a Southern Tier Pumpking.

Pours deep mahogany with a medium off-white head. Smell is pumpkin with some gentle spice notes. Taste is pumpkin, hints of caramel, and a tiny touch of spice. Medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly wet texture and mildly prickly mouth-carbonation, Chatoe Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale finishes with pumpkin dominance.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Thewade (176) - USA - DEC 20, 2012
Nice brew poured out of bomber. Fresh tasting with emphasis on the pumpkin as opposed to pumpkin spices like a lot of other pumpkin ales. A little overpriced IMO, but good brew.
