3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
pours a medium orange/brown with a large light tan head that quickly dissipates. There is a medium pumpkin flavor and a mild pie spice, it is lightly sweet and quite bitter. I think it is over carbonated!!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Urge. Pours a reddish amber with a thin tan head which quickly fades to nothing. Aroma is pumpkin meat, pie spices, toasted sweet malts, caramel, and some light brown sugar. Taste is a little muted compared to the aroma and has some light soda water notes. Has a medium-light body with a watery mouthfeel and a semi dry, mostly sweet, medium, slightly fizzy finish. Overall, a decent pumpkin ale that as too thin of a body a is probably too over carbonated has several other raters have pointed out.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Below average pumpkin ale sadly. Spice and pumpkin flavor are there, but they compete with one another instead of cooperating. No sweetness, and the base beer is thin. Disappointed. C+/B-

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (and a cool one). Pours a dark orange-amber, little evident head. Not a whole heck of a lot of evident aroma coming off this either, but IMHO that’s an OK thing, ’cause sometimes gourd beers can be over the top. This drinks with a very well mellowed and integrated pumpkin character inside an easy-drinking ale. Smooth and quaffable all the way, this has just the right kiss of squash and cinnamon. Tap. Dark amber. Subtle pumpkin spice aroma. Very smooth throughout. Well balanced, but I could have used more of a hit.

Has a very dark brown unfiltered look out of a 750ml. Can taste and smell a wide variety of spices in the beer. A good unique one time only beer.

Very good pumpkin beer. I still prefer Pumpking over this, but it’s a close second.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Sedona Charlottesville. Pours a clear copper color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big spice and mild pumpkin notes. The taste is big pumpkin notes, mild spice and nuttiness. Thin-medium bodied, low carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Pours a dark rusty orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma is of sweet pumpkin spices, nutmeg and some malt. Taste same as aroma, but not overly sweet or cloying like other pumpkin ales, a bit of cooked vegetable flavor and mild caramel malt undertones with some mild bitterness, Palate is a medium body, good carbonation, sweet and very palatable brew. Finishes with sweet pumpkin spices, nutmeg, some cooked vegetable notes, mild caramel malt and some bitterness on the end for balance. Could have used a bit more pumpkin spice. Overall this is a good, easy drinking, and unassumingly nicely balanced brew.
