Bomber. Poured medium reddish-amber with a creamy, well-retained beige head. The aroma picked up sweet smoked malts, caramel, and molasses with accents of earth and toasted rye.. sweet overall and well-balanced. The flavor found mostly sweet smoked malts and caramel at the core, with spicy rye, grainy earth, and tart malty notes around.. more tacky and bitter as it warmed up, with a lot of sharp smoke character and a bit of fruit. Medium-bodied with smooth, rolling carbonation on the palate.. great feel until it got messy at the end.

22. Thanks j! Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a loose and creamy tan head. Big earthy fallen leaves nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Toasty earthy fallen leaves mid palate. Kinda maerzen ish.

Thx! To Antoine. Sampler draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Apparently all ingredients were grown @ there own farms. Pours dark brown with an off-white beige head. Nose is sweet metallic, herbs, black bread, bitter herbs, rather off-putting honestly. Taste is sweet black bread, rye, herbal, metallic, black liquorish, caramel, dried fruits, grains, spices, light smoke,… Sticky body,… No, this is not particularly enjoyable. Good for them to have farms and everything.

Bottle. pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of rye, spices, malt, fruitiness and bread. Flavor is sweet and malty with some rye, spices, bread and malt. Medium body, average carbonation.

Head is initially average sized, frothy/creamy, light brown, mostly lasting.
Body is dark amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), moderately hoppy (herbs/grass, resin, apricot), with notes of black tea, autumn leaves and tree bark, medicine/Listerine/sage, earth.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, syrupy/gooey/creamy texture, lively/soft carbonation, lightly alcoholic, metallic.
One of the weirdest mouthfeels of any beer I’ve ever encountered...it’s almost like syrup (but thankfully carbonated), very thick and goopy. Combined with the metallic aftertaste, I must say it’s pretty unpleasant. The aroma is interesting and autumnal, but there is a medicinal twang I’m not very fond of...but good for the most part. Nice lasting head, fairly good flavor balance. Hard to get past the strange gooey mouthfeel, though, so in the end, sadly, it’s pretty much undrinkable.

This rogue sampler is proving pretty boring. Smells of have malt and a little rye. Carbonation a little low. Finish a little sour and musky. Nothing going on here. Tap at coles.

Small beige head. Deep red body with light carbonation. Roasty earthy banana aroma with licorice and blackberry notes. Taste much the same with spice notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish spicy rye and banana aftertaste with bubblegum and wood notes. Unusual and interesting. (0.2l draft at Crow Bar, Oslo.)

Tampa, Fl - Total Wine - 22 oz bomber. Dark brown tannin colored pour with a frothy, bubbly khaki colored head. Earthy aroma with some nutmeg accents, a hint of root beer. Flavor is subdued but hearty. Pick up some light anise seed, a hint of minty rye, a bit of potting soil, just a hint of unsweetened chocolate. Mouthfeel has a nice softness to it. Not one of Rogue’s finer specimens, but does in a pinch.

Clear copper with an aroma that’s like rye dough and chef boyardee. Tastes about the same, chef boyardee noodles and some bread dough.
