3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark murky reddish bronze. Decent sized beige head. Smells toasty, earthy, even a little bit smoky. Pretty full bodied. Flavor is a lot of earthy malts, some coffee and smoky, and a dry, woody finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This beer pours dark brown / amber and is almost a gusher. Very cool lacing. In the aroma I get rye, brewers grain, and a little wood. The flavor is also rye. It is not spicy but more of rye grain. A bit of spice is in the hops, however. Just a hint of chocolate. That wood and a little dark fruit and then some earth. This was not a perfect beer but it had a lot of really fun stuff going on. So much complexity for the style made it a lot of fun to drink.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear copper with an aroma that’s like rye dough and chef boyardee. Tastes about the same, chef boyardee noodles and some bread dough.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bomber. Stale yeasty nose out of the bottle, hints of rubbery autolysis, pours a deep murky copper/dark brown in the glass with a creamy beige head. Taste is bitter, burnt, very rubbery, touch of plastic, dry and stripping, light grain, black patent, some smoke. Medium body, smooth and creamy, nice lace. Whatever rye they used is overwhelmed but the burned and smokier notes. Very subtle chest warming, alcohol is under control here. The damage isn’t too bad here, and it’s not an utter drainpour, but this did nothing to allay my disdain for this brewery. It’ll be another year or two until I buy another bottle, guys, get your act together.

Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice malt build and hops balance. Decent amount of smoked aroma and flavors. Very nice beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Bottle, 0.65 l, courtesy of FatPhil, 20140715) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was quite large, white and it lasted long. Aroma had malts, molasses and caramelly sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, sugary sweetness, molasses, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. Way too sweet.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thx! To Antoine. Sampler draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Apparently all ingredients were grown @ there own farms. Pours dark brown with an off-white beige head. Nose is sweet metallic, herbs, black bread, bitter herbs, rather off-putting honestly. Taste is sweet black bread, rye, herbal, metallic, black liquorish, caramel, dried fruits, grains, spices, light smoke,… Sticky body,… No, this is not particularly enjoyable. Good for them to have farms and everything.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This rogue sampler is proving pretty boring. Smells of have malt and a little rye. Carbonation a little low. Finish a little sour and musky. Nothing going on here. Tap at coles.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I thought this was pretty nice. A beautiful brown with a nice head, the flavor is a little different but surprisingly smooth.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours deep mahogany into an English pint. Tan head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sourdough and roasted nut aromas. Medium bodied with spicy pumpernickel upfront turning to sourdough before the earthy bitter finish.
