This saison pours a very cloudy golden color from a 22 oz etched bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and spicy. A medium bodied saison. Malts are fruity, sweet and spicy. Hops are spicy. A Belgian style ale, brewed with some different spices, grain of paradise, ginger root and others, makes for a flavorful saison. Definite a saison, definitely brewed by Rogue. Interesting beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly spicy.

Quite a head - huge. Excellent lacing. Orange murky color. Looks as interesting as it tastes and smells.Yeasty, spicy aroma with a hint of bread dough. Taste of honey, orange and ginger. Sweet finish.

There was so much going on in this beer, it was hard to really nail down a flavor. Very thick and cloudy looking. It had an odd bitter plain yogurt flavor, very rich and thick yet smooth drinking. Very interesting brew.

Cloudy medium orange body with a large eggshell colored head. The arom ais sweet gingerbread and carrots. There is also some orange. The taste is light ginger snap cookies and some slight spice in the finish. There is also bread crust and some sweet peanut brittle. A decent Christmas beer.

Poured a nice honey color with a large short lived head. All I can say about the aroma is it was "clean" tho non descript .Maybe a hint of dryer sheet. It was fairly bland with some subtle citrus/flower petal taste. Was expecting much more.

Aroma is very chalky with a mild spice. Flavor is mild dry, slight apple, chalk, mild hay. Drinkable but the odd dryness bugs me.

A rerun of friends is on.....Friends is a really good show if you like to get F__ed in the a$$! Anyways, the beer is much better than the show, but that doesnt say much. Murky gold in color, lots of thick head. Aroma of acid and citrus. Slightly peppery on the tongue, fruity, yeasty taste....a kinda weird syruppy thing going on the back of the mouth....decent

Sampled at Argo & Kathy’s ’05 Hoiliday Gathering. Cloudy golden/orange with a white head. Aroma of citrusy orange peel and lemon. The flavor’s kinda banged up; notes of floral hops, lemon, orange, spice and a touch of sourness at the end. Just doesn’t come together that well IMO. Medium body with very spritzy, lively carbonation. eh.
