3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of spice and orange with a bit of candi. Golden amber color with tiny bubbles. The beige head is a monster. Near medium body. Creamy fizzy carbonation. Itís sweet, with orange and ginger. Malt and hop tend to get lost in the complex blend. As the sweet oozes away a veg/ginger/bitter taste remains. Seems more bitter than 18 IBU, so perhaps the ginger is fooling me. The orange comes out best in the end, although it is arguably detectable at the beginning. Itís really a bit different, but itís pretty innovatively good.

Bottle... A&Kís4thAHBT... Murky, pear-colored ale with a large, frothy, off-white head. Soapy, breadsy aroma with notes of grapefruit, ginger, caramel and orange peel. The flavor is decently-balanced and earthy with hints of lemon peel and ginger. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Finishes earthy and spicy. Better than expected.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
When opened, some foam kept coming out of the bottle (but not a gusher). Poured a light to medium golden color with a large and lightly off white head. Aromas of yeast, spices and a little fruity. Tastes of fruits, lemons, and spices. I actually didnít really care too much for this one as the tastes and aromas did not work for me.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
22 oz bomber. Beautiful red-orange beer with a thick off-white head. Sweet yeasty aroma, some honey, light fruit, some herbal aroma, gingery with a bit of black pepper. Flavour is fairly sweet, with a prominent yeastiness. A bit bread. Honeyish flavour, light herbal. Lingering yeasty finish. A bit too sweet and way too bready. As it warms, the beer becomes quite astringent and harsh tasting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear medium yellow and orange hue. Sweet and salty nose: soapy pepper and lightly fruity with a lot of sugar. Soap and coriander flavors dominate, with a spicy and peppery flavor throughout but especially on the finish. A good try, but not something great.
