On tap. Dirty dark brown color, small brown head. Malty sweetness of dark fruits and molasses, with just enough dryness on the finish. Warming going down, with a lingering spiced tea flavor. In cold weather, I could drink nothing but this beer.

Aug 27, 2008 On tap at Barleys in Knoxville. Poured a hazy brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is of citrus and pine with dark fruits and raisins. Flavor is sweet malt with raisins and molasses. I had several of these. Really enjoyable.

May 2, 2008 You know you’re getting hops with Rogue and this is no exception. This is an adventure to drink. Aromas of raisins, citrus and pine start you off thinking you might get a mellow journey, but the first taste tells you otherwise announcing the hop presence joined with a pairing of molasses and anise.
