Commercial Description:
June 15: Rogue's 15th Anniversary Series release #9: Glen will be tapped at 15:15 hours...dedicated to Glen Hay Falconer: Once a Rogue, always a Rogue (1961-2002). John Maier described Glen as a strong ale, brewed with five ingredients: Simpson's Golden Promise & Weyermann Malts, Glacier hops, Free-range Coastal Water and top fermenting PacMan Yeast. Glen weighs in at 18.9 degrees Plato, 50 IBUs, 78 degrees Apparent Attenuation and 15 degrees Lovibond. Orange/amberin hue, sporting a thick and creamy head with a fine hop bitterness and aroma. We love you Glen!

Draft at Rogue Public House in Astoria. A hazy amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by grass. The flavor is sweet malty with prmary notes of grass, but also light notes of caramel and grapefruit.

(On tap) Presented as "Rogue Glen Strong Ale". Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving some laces. Lightly sweet caramel aroma with a pleasant fruitiness. Medium body with sweet caramel and distinct accents of....tea! Lightly perfumy. The finish is dry but not overly bitter. 240307

The ’08 edition. Golden-beige colour with some haze. Caramel and alcohol on the nose with lots of earthiness. Toasty palate with some caramel and hint of earth and lemon. A little astringent towards the finish, though.

Cask@GBBF2008. Hazy orange colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, vanilla, fruits and some very Rogueish notes. Flavour is US hops, Rogueish yeastyness as well as some sap and fruits.
