3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
pint @ Tylerís Apex. Ok aroma, sweet, orange, honey, butter, grapefruit as it warmed. Hazed brownish orange color, good head and lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Not too crazy about this, found it harsh and unappealing in both aroma and flavor, Flavor in particular made it tough to finish, just harsh and pretty much enjoyably, oh well.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Comes out of the tap a hazy honey golden with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma has a strong honey-sweet overtone of honey with a malty core and a hoppy hint. Flavor is mainly honey with a malty note and a whisper of butterscotch. Smooth texture is fairly thick and subtly tingly. Not Rogueís best, but worthy of a try!

Grassier than I expected. Hazy amber pour with a grass and sweet malt aroma. Hoppy taste with hints of candy and spices.

Draft sample. Hazy orange with amber hues. No head. Soft nose has just a hint of citrus. Big grapefruity flavor. Medium body, oily texture. Prickly hops on the palate followed by a long citrusy bitter and dry finish. Good beer. Hop heavy.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Happy Gnome, Saint Paul, MN. This beer had the least head compared to the other lighter brews in the flight ("OREgasmic ale" and "Dead Guy"). More amber than honey with some orange hues in there. Really smooth! Very little carbonation -- just a little prick -- but light nonetheless -- this has the refreshing quality missing from the "Oregasmic ale." Nice hops underlying a dominant grassy/floral hops. Aroma is subdued with some odd qualities I canít suss out. I really like this! Very creamy head but the body is light -- what a fantastic combination! I think I caught some marsh aroma (perhaps thatís what I couldnít suss out earlier). Bitter on the finish -- some butterscotch, too. Great summer beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Clear, darkened copper body with a half inch-high, frothy, white head with admirable retention.
Smell: Opens with citrusy hops, notes of floral-scented hand soap, and backed by delicately sweetish toffee-brushed biscuits.
Taste: Pale malts with some additional hints of toasted biscuits and toffee. Medium level of clean malt sweetness. The taste, as is the case with the majority of Rogue products, is centered around the hops. Largely tasting of white grapefruit but also some underlying earthy, floral tones to it as well. Moderate bitterness. Finish is drying and bittersweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Modest creaminess to the mouthfeel.
Drinkability: A good, smooth beer that remains fairly drinkable considering the ABV percentage. Pleasant choice to close out a round of Team Trivia at Summits.

On tap at rattle n hum. A both musty and earth offering with sweet orange and strawberry notes. Has some barley wine characteristics but mantains more of a more fluffy mouthfeel.

Draft at Rattle n Hum. Poured a hazy orange with a medium white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and flowers. Strong flavor with nice malt character and hop backbone. Filling and on the tail the alcohol warms. A nice beer.
