The flavor is very light and slightly dry. Hints of spicyness, but mainly citrus flavors. Not as much spice or flavor as I was hoping for. Lightly bitter finish. Very good for a wheat ale. bitbucket (2031), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 15, 2008 Bomber. Pours cloudy gold with a white head that quickly descends to a ring of foam. Fruit and spice nose. Sweet and somewhat ’peachy’ wheat taste. Dry spicy, and softly bitter finish. Interesting take the wheat ale style, but I’m completely in the dark why they’ve named it as a hefeweizen. ChainGangGuy (2555), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Appearance: Pours a mostly clear, yellow body with a tall, cascading, pure white head, though the head checks out pretty quickly.
Smell: Mild, easy-going fresh wheat aroma with, for me, a strong scent of coriander and a lesser note of dried ginger.
Taste: Soft malted wheat flavor with an initial tangy twang to it. Light sweetness throughout. Plenty of coriander floating around in here, the ginger, as it was with the nose, is noticeable, but relatively light. Small pour of banana juice. Restrained spicy hops and bitterness. Slight yeastiness. Lingering coriander taste on the sweetish finish.
Mouthfeel: Just barely medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Not the most traditional example of the style, but you should’ve known that going into this. Ultimately, it’s just a light, easy-drinking, spiced wheat brew. glennmastrange (837), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Light aromas all around of hay, herbs, lemon, barnyard, wood and sulfur. Head is small, fizzy/frothy off-white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is slightly hazy gold. Flavor sarts moderataly acidic and finishes moderately acidic and bitter, and a little sour. Palate is light to medium, between dry and watery and has a fizzy carbonation. Lacking in depth and body, it’s still as refreshing as a wheat ale gets. robforbes (1085), Bremerton, Washington, USA

taste is wheat, tangy at first, lemon, slight bitter, a little spice, hops in the back, and a little pine, ends a little dry. urraca (44), New Jersey, USA

Solid brew, but it’s fairly plain and not very flavorful, definitely lacking a punch. I’ll still with my Germans. carl4beer (400), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA
