Mild aroma of flowery saaz hops. Taste includes some spicy citrus from the coriander and ginger. Light bodied with a medium level of carbonation. One of the best American wheat beers I’ve tried. Very similar in style to a witbier. FunkyBrewster (449), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow, not bright at all. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Quite mellow, not overpowering at all. Flavor is sweet apricot in the start and some hop notes in the finish. Also a little bit of spice comes through with some sweet honey flavors that linger. Medium bodied. A nice example of a wheat beer that isn’t too overwhelming for those who don’t want that strong fruit flavor. Hank1980 (743), Athens, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Great label. The beer was alright. Poured a cloudy gold. Aroma of wheat, yeast, and a little spice. Taste was similar with some of the spice becoming more pronounced, with ginger being the dominant one. Also, some lemon coming through. Finishes a little dry and spicey. Mouth was fairly carbonated. SDalkoholic (1188), Chula Vista, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2008 Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Upon the pour, I started to become disappointed since I could tell this was a very simple beer. Typical aroma of light and crisp notes of yeast and minimum smell of grassy wheat. Created a glowing yellow hue while showing a shadow of hazed sediment. Actually quite subtle and refreshing but seriously lacking a strong back bone of any flavor since the balance between the malt and hop are dead on. In the finish, however, there is a slight reminder of ginger and coriander but not enough for me to make this a repeat beer. nuplastikk (1174), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2008 22oz bomber. Light golden straw color. Lots of ginger and herbal character, with a wheat backbone and a yeasty creaminess. A sort of hefe-hybrid. Lemony and tart. A quality beer, but lacks some depth of character. xcrunner1 (9), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 16, 2008 Aroma of citrus and spices and it pour out of the 22 oz/ bottle a cloude golden color. I was craving a wheat beer, but this had a weak flavor with some spices. I can taste the yeast somewhat. Overall, it is not what I wanted at the time, but would be a nice crisp summer brew. Wheat, bread, spice, sweet malt, floral hops, lemon zest, and coriander. Nothing spectacular, but tastes good and is easy to drink. radagast83 (1289), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
