Pint on tap. Nose is spicy toast and light citrus. Tastes of earthy spiced toast and lemon. Clear golden with a light-medium body and medium-high carbonation. There oughta be a law against using the term "Hefeweizen" in the name of such blasphemic crap.

From 22 oz bottle. Clear slghtly hazy golden; large frothy head and good lacing. Aroma: a mix of appealing light malts and less appealing yeast and spices. Flavor: mildly sweet; soft fruits; light bread; mild coriander. Feel: medium-light body with lively, medium carbonation. O: a tame spiced hefe.

Had at Foamfest in Fayetteville. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Citrus and spice. Some floral. Wheaty and yeasty. Nice beer.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2014 Had this on draft. Was expecting an actual hefeweizen so I was a little taken back when this came to the table. Pours a golden clear pilsner color. Not the hazy yellow I’m used to for the style. Flavor was more on par with a pilsner as well. Overall it’s a decent sessionable beer, it’s just not a hefeweizen by any means.

On tap at the Yard House, Houston. It’s an almost clear one, golden in color and with a small white head. The aroma is lightly fruity and grainy, with a spice touch. Pretty boring, which goes for the flavor too. Some bitterness chiming in with the malts and fruits. Medium body with a bit hard carbonation. Malty, fruity finish. Overall, a boring one, but at least it downs easily. 140513

Tap at Rogue Bar SF. Pours a clear yellow. Nose has citrus, spice, cloves and yeast. Taste is more floral hops and citrus yest. Spices in the backend - more cloves and Belgium funk in the taste. Not too bad. Not my style of fav beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home. Pours hazy gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is wheat and Pils malt, biscuit notes, earthy hops, and spice notes. Flavor is crisp malt, light hops and bitterness, light fruity esters and spices with a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2013 This was a nice session hefe, but I probably wouldn’t purchase it regularly. The aroma was probably the best quality, with lots of citrus, spice, and floral accents. Head retention was poor and short-lived, but poured an attractive hazy gold and overall it had the light, spiced body you’d expect from a wheat beer. The body was light and refreshing, tasting like what you’d expect from a wheat beer, with a nice citrus finish.
