Apr 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a beige head. Sweet aroma with a note of citrus and a light note of spice. Medium body. Flavor is lightly sweet, almost perfumey, with a light note of fruit and grass. Very average, I was expecting more.

Mar 30, 2008 Pours nice peach- cloudy with residual yeast. Two finger billowy head. Aroma of complex yeast, citrus, clove, and ginger. Taste was yeasty, with lemongrass and orange. A bit thin on the mouthfeel, but smooth and soft otherwise. Quite enjoyed this.

Mar 30, 2008 yeasty, thick hazy yellow appearance. decent head, nice lacing, especially for a weizen. intriguing aroma, subtle spiciness to it. very smooth, mouthfeel is superb. nicely balanced carbonation, flavor stays steady throughout its duration. very nice beer, especially for one partial to hefeweizens.

Mar 12, 2008 2oz. Redolent of fruit and hops with spicy yeast undertones. Hazy yellow body with modest head but decent carbonation. Flavor is a nice blend of dried fruits and wheat followed by a sweet ginger and hops kick. The malts are discernible but not overpowering throughout the experience.

Mar 8, 2008 Small taster at Rogue Ale House, San Francisco, 23rd Feb 2008. Clear gold colour. Aroma is spicy and peppery with some yeast underneath. Taste reminded me of spicy sausage! Very sharp and clean finish though. Nice, but not much wheat to be found.

Feb 28, 2008 Bottled at Monks Café, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear dark golden colour with a low creamy white foam. Aroma of hay, mandarin and biscuits. Medium-bodied bordering to light-bodied with notes of dried oranges, neutral yeast and minerals. Mild orangey finish of neutral yeast. Low bitterness.

Feb 27, 2008 Updated: Nov 26, 2008Light golden pour with a medium white frothy head. Strong aroma of apricots. Caramel, fruity, spicy, peppery, bitter taste. The ginger in there is definitely discernible. Very fruity/juicy finish which is really the highlight of this beer.

Feb 27, 2008 Draft @ TFD: Bright yellow pour with a big white head. Light maltiness and florals up front, bits of wheat. Tastes grassey and herbals with a bit of rye and wheat. Some spiciness. I found this to be dry and somewhat abrasive. Maybe a bit much on the carbonation...
